I shook my head and squinted my eyes in confusion "I'm what?"

Your POV

I shook my head and looked at her "That literally makes no sense, what does "transitioning" even mean?". She tucked some hair behind her ear and held my hands, "Do you want to go back to you friends, and have an untold power that you can't control? Or would you like to stay here?".

"If I went back to my friends, is there a chance I could hurt them?"

She sighed and looked down at the scene below us "Hm. Yes Y/n, there is a chance. It's a very high chance that you would hurt them".

"I can't go back... I can't hurt the people I love"

She smiled and pulled me into a hug while rubbing my head to comfort me, "You're a very smart and beautiful girl Y/n, I know if you went back you wouldn't make any stupid decisions. So are you absolutely sure you want to stay here?"

"You said there was a high chance I would hurt them, right? Even if the chance was small I would still stay, I can't hurt them. I love him"

She laughed a little bit "You love who?"

I blushed and shook my head "I didn't mean to say that, I love all of them"

"But is there someone who you love more than the rest?"

I looked down at the scene below us again and nodded "Yeah, I guess there is". We hugged a little longer before she pulled away, "Y/n... I didn't tell you this but. If you stay you will still get the power, but I can help you manage it". I looked up at her and shook my head "The way you said it... you made it sound like I wouldnt get it".

"I know, and I'm sorry for that. But I can he'll you control it, if you went down there you could hurt them"

Some time went by where I was still processing everything, after sitting there for a little bit, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck. I dropped to the floor and held my neck with my hand trying to soothe the pain somewhat. She got on her knees behind me and moved my hair and my hand to see what was wrong.

"Y/n... the power is coming to you but it's being delayed by something..."

Suddenly, someone busted through the door. "Hello, Y/n. Oh how you've changed. Last I saw, you were just a baby, still crying for me"

"Crying for you? I don't even now who you are!"

She smirked and walked up to me "You don't remember your own mother?"
