Chapter 17

"M'Lady an akumatized villain called Fairytail is attacking the city I will be at the bakery," Chat Noir called her through his staff as he left her a message, "This is not a good time to be nowhere to be found Ladybug." Chat Noir tried to help out as many citizens to escape the villain from transforming them into fairytale characters as her army.  He then watches to see Marinette coming up to the balcony to see what was going on. From the corner of Chat Noir's eyes, he saw Fairytale aiming at her, "Marinette watch out!" Chat Noir yelled but it was too late as Fairytale's powers caused her to fall to the floor of her balcony.

"There's no way of helping her, she's done for," Fairytale cackled as she watched in amusement as Chat Noir went to the balcony to find Marinette's limp body and his heart skipped a beat. He rushed to her side, stroking her pigtails. 

Without allowing himself time to stay long in Fairytale's eyesight he lifted her bridal style in his arm to escape from Fairytale's attempt at hitting him. Fairytale's words stabbed Chat Noir like a dagger in the heart.  "Marinette, "Chat Noir says in a worried tone as he examines her to see what had happened, "It looks like she was put to sleep. Like sleeping beauty..." He then thought about thee fairytales and how it reminded him how he had realized he had a true feeling for her. But it was too late as she no longer felt the same. But then the thought of Luka appeared, "I know who can wake you from this curse." 

Chat Noir then nodded the decision as he then carried her all the way to Luka's home. He had found the deck to be empty. When he landed Anarka came out with a sword ready to fight, "You want to fight I'll give... Chat Noir!"

When she announced his name, Luka and some of his classmates appeared, "What happened to Marinette!?"

"She got hit by Fairytale, you're her boyfriend you can wake her," Chat Noir explained.

"What?" Luka asked as he was confused with what's going on.

"True love's kiss," awwed Rose as she explains, "Luka your her prince charming and she's sleeping beauty."

"What?" Luka did not understand but understood why this was happening. Marinette and he broke up because she couldn't trust him with the truth. He had assumed because she was still in love with Adrien and couldn't move forward in the relationship.

"It's the most powerful thing in the world." Chat Noir continued, subtly smiling.

Luka rushed to Marinette's side, assuming that maybe he was her true love and this was the chance to prove it. Their lips touched, but there was no response. He tried again, but this time more forcefully. There was still no response. Luka nodded in disappointment, "Take her to Adrien Agreste."

"Who now," Chat Noir responded quickly not realizing that the kiss didn't work.

"Adrien Agreste," Luka explained, "He will be at the hotel. Take her there, he can wake her up."

Without much words, he nodded, "Right, go back inside me and Ladybug will save the day." He also mumbled under his breath, "If she ever shows up." He then took off to take her to his room in the hotel and lay her down on his bed. He transforms back into himself.

"Is it over already?" Plagg asked then glances to the bed to see Marinette unconscious, "Why is she here?!"

"She was hit by Fairytale, to be sleeping beauty. True love kiss is supposed to wake her," Adrien explained.

"And what happen to go going to the proper boyfriend mister Casanova?" plagg shouts in an absurd tone.

"it didn't work. Luka said, Adrien Agreste. But true love kiss, me?" Adrien asked dumbfounded with everything going on.
