Chapter 22

"Are you always this cocky as a civilian?" Ladybug as she was running along with Chat Noir.

"And when are just going to admit it, that you're in love with me," Chat Noir teased as they are on the lookout for the Akumatized villain.

Ladybug's eye rolled towards his teasing, "I get that you flirt with me all the time and it funny and whatever but what about the girl you were dating?"

"Aww, are you jealous?" Chat Noir responded, "You're the one obsessed with my love life now that you know my identity."

"What you think I have a little crush on you?" Ladybug responded as she then saw a glittering ball coming towards them, "Look out!!"

She jumped towards Chat, pushing him and her out of the way just in time.

"The sandboy just checked in, now nightmares can begin," Sandboy floated upon his flying pillow of sand.

"Great another nightmare adventure,"  Ladybug groans as she dodges another glitter ball attack.

"Couldn't we just of sleep on it," Chat Noir chuckled as he batted the glitterball at Sandboy which causes him to fly off.

"Nice hit," Ladybug complemented as she looked around the city to see the mayhem with the nightmares. 

She then heard a faint singing. "Little kitty on a roof, all alone without his lady, " Ladybug heard this sung but when she looked around there was no one in sight besides another ball attack on her way.  Chat Noir got hit with a glitter ball,  as he pushed  Ladybug away as her response was slow. 

His face got planted into the other side concrete pavement and there she was, incredibly mean and creepy Ladybug, ready to haunt Chat Noir all over again."Oh no, not her again." Chat groaned and grabbed his baton. Ladybug took out her yo-yo, ready to now fight two enemies.

"I'm going to completely destroy you into Kitty Kibble!!!" Nightmare Ladybug announced.

Chat whimpered, but then stood his ground again.

"Seriously?" Ladybug asked in offense, "Thought Shadowmoth would be your top fear."

"What can I say having you as an enemy is still my biggest fear, my father was already evil," Chat Noir responded.

Ladybug nodded in response as she jumped up to the roof, and threw her yo-yo around the fake, and tossed her all the way, flying across half of Paris, "There is only be Ladybug. But mind your back Chat, she could be back any moment."

They started fighting Sandboy again. He had gotten swifter and was harder to fight. Even though they managed to dodge the balls and didn't get hit again, they did get exhausted and bruised by crashing into the hard concrete pavement or scraped against rough walls. They were about to counter Sandboy, Ladybug ready to throw her lucky charm, when a yo-yo wraps around her arm. Sandboy grinned and shot a glitter ball. Ladybug was going to dodge it but got pulled back by the fake, right into the ball. You could see the fear in her eyes, knowing that she was now powerless and everything was in Chat's claws. But when Ladybug saw the fake one going for Chat Noir, ready to choke him, she threw her yo-yo, wrapping it around Chat and hauling him to her just before the fake could tighten her grip. Then she grabbed the fake and angrily tossed her against a wall, knocking her out.

Chat and Ladybug looked at each other, both very confused, "So I guess you aren't afraid of losing your powers?"

"I guess not," Ladybug says as she looked at herself, "Let's go and hideout, Sandboy has new tricks from Shadowmoth."
