Kane's POV
When we had found Odasaku last night, he was passed out on the ground from a poison-covered ball. Dazai and I took him to back the Port Mafia to get healed. The entire way back Dazai continued to try and apologize for the big mistake he made earlier that day, but I just ignored him. Now it was the next day and other than getting food, bathroom breaks, and reporting to the boss neither one of us really left Odasaku's side. He finally began to wake up around sunset.

"Good to see you awake Odasaku." Dazai calmly said with his arms crossed as he was seated facing Oda. I sat on the floor next to the bed. "How do you feel?"

"Like every venture I ever had in my life just caught up with me all at once."Oda groaned sitting up.

"Be careful. You still need to rest some more." I said quietly standing up. Oda nodded assuring me.

"I went to the place you guys told me about and Ango was there." Oda continued

"So our suspicion was correct then," Dazai stated

"It would seem so," I said

"Yeah. He disappeared into the night with some soldiers dressed in black."

"If I had to guess. I'd say they were a special ops squad. It looks like we can divide these events into two separate categories."

"Which one do the soldiers fall under?"

"There different soldiers than what we're dealing with in Mimic. So we don't need to worry about them at the moment. Mimic is far more of a threat to the Port Mafia at this time." I answered.

"They've been causing trouble in the city, so we've assigned Akutagawa and members of our combat division to deal with them but we still don't know what kind of ability their leader possesses. Were at a loss."

"This Akutagawa guy you mentioned. He is both of yours subordinate right?" Oda asked curiously. "I understand he has offensive capabilities."

"He is a naked sword without a scabbard. In time I have no doubt he'll become the strongest member of the mafia, but right now he needs to be taught how to shave if blade. But I digress." Dazai said so seriously I knew he wasn't lying.

"Osamu Dazai you bastard. You knew all along he was capable and yet you treated him like that. Ugh! I can't with you." I growled, but he was only worried about me changing from his last name to full. He knows that if am mad but not mad enough I will bother with saying someone's full name. This applies to when I am being deadly serious as well. It just sucks that out of the things I can read on him I have never been able to read how he truly feels about people including myself. He pushed away from the comment and began to talk again.

"This morning the council of the Six top executives convened and decided to attack Mimic with everything the Port Mafia's can muster."

"At the same time, Ryu and some of This idiots team were hit by a surprise attack at the scene. They are most likely still fighting as we speak." I added looking over at Oda with Osamu noticing he was getting dressed to leave.

"What are you doing?" Osamu asked with worry in his voice "Are you going?"

"Didn't you mention we are hitting them with all we got?"

"I didn't think you'd be this excited about fighting. Considering your stand against killing and all."

"I'm not excited."

"Why are you going then?"

"I have acquired a lot of debts in my life. Your guys are in trouble then I should help." Oda replied and left out the door with neither Osamu nor I moving.
