Kane's POV
Osamu and I ended up taking the next day off work to let injuries heal. He insisted on taking care of me the entire day and only left me alone to take a shower or use the restroom. We sat and listened to each other rant on and on. I ended up telling him everything about my life before we met. Which he could tell put me in a bad mood so he changed the subject by playfully going on about books he has been reading. Today though I forced him to let me work. He said he would only let me if I took it easy and went in something comfortable. So I ended up going to work in a pair of black leggings, a short pleated skirt, and an oversized sweater. Osamu had to help me put all the bandages on before we left.
"You know, now you look like me with all those bandages." he teased
"Don't make me hurt you." I threatened
"Ok ok. I guess that's a bad thing?" Osamu asked with his hands up
"It's not a bad thing. I just don't want to boost your ego through the roof." I replied walking out the door laughing.
"I've never heard of such a thing. What is this ego you speak of?" Osamu joked as he followed me out. I laughed even more while we walked down the stairs.
"Like I said ego boost. I am just not used to this many bandages, so it's just weird." I added
"You'll get used to them. I mean it's not like your going to have this many on forever." Osamu replied putting an arm around my shoulder.
"That's true," I answered as we walked closer to the cafe attached to the agency. "What do you want from the cafe? It's on me today."
"Whatever you suggest, Darling~" Osamu flirted with a smile.
"Ok, then how about...Chai tea? Sound good to you?" I asked looking up at him returning the smile.
"That sounds great." He said slightly blushing. I moved out from under his arm and grabbed his hand. I looked back at him as I pulled him along the rest of the way.
"Let's hurry up then." I cheered

"You know you really didn't have to pay for my drink," Osamu stated sitting at his desk while taking his trench coat off.
"And you didn't have to take an entire day off to take care of me." I retorted smugly rolling my chair over to his desk.
Looking at his desk I could see his keys placed lazily at the edge. The keys were plain aside from one decoration. A string bracelet that was attached to the keyring. It was colored mainly with blue but with hints of red and green. It was one of a three-pair matching set between Chuuya, Osamu, and I. Mine was mainly green with blue and red accents. It was loosely but tightly tied to my ankle. When I was drinking with Chuuya about a year ago I had noticed he used his as a hair tie. We all kept ours without telling the others.
"So you kept it," I commented softly
"Kept what?" Osamu asked looking at me but then noticed what I was staring at."Oh, that. I couldn't bring myself to get rid of it. What about you? Did you keep yours?"
"It never crossed my mind to get rid of it," I replied revealing my ankle showing the bracelet.
Osamu smiled and then turned back to his desk as he began to read his suicide book. I for once wasn't in the mood to read so I just slowly spun in my chair. Things was quiet and peaceful...for about 10 minutes. Atushi came barging in with the midnight blue-haired girl named Kyouka and stood in front of his desk. This caught both mine and Osamu's attention.
