Quarantine trouble

Day 1

No ones POV

"Ok thank you we will be in touch if we have anymore questions" Chris says to the witness. A grocery store was robbed 2 dead and 5 injured. This was the fifth one hit. Chris and street make their way back to the car to head back to HQ.
"Wanna grab a bite to eat before we head back in?" Street ask.
"Sure" Chris responds
They stop at a taco truck and grab lunch and make there way back to the car to eat lunch

~ 1/2 hour later ~
Lunch is over and they are in the car headed back to HQ when Chris's phone starts to ring. "It's Hondo" she says as she answers the phone and puts it on speaker. "To hondo what's up" ask Chris
"Where are you guys" he ask with urgency.
"We're like 5 mins out." Street says "why is everything ok?"
"No it's not the witnesses y'all talked to just called she was awaiting test results and she tested positive for covid you all have to quartine for 14 days."

" oh and street Luca asked me to tell u that he kinda needs u to quartine in a hotel or something cause of Kelly and the neighborhood kids" hondo says.
"Umm yeah I'll figure it out" street says " what about my bike and Chris truck?" Street ask.
"We will figure that out later y'all just need to worry about staying healthy" hondo replies
" hondo there a ramp in the bed of the truck load his bike up and y'all can drop it at my place I have extra room he can quartine with me" Chris tells him
Street looks at Chris and smiles who in return smiles back
"Will do after shift, but in the meantime street text Luca and get him a list of anything u need from ur place and then when y'all get to Chris's text me or dec a list of what y'all need for hers ok" hondo tells them
"Got it boss" they both reply and hang up with him
"Look Chris I can get a hotel I don't want to intrude" street tells her
"Ur not intruding at all plus I don't think I can last 14 days by myself. It will be fine I have plenty of room" Chris tells him.
"Ok, well thank you then" street responds
Chris hums in response and smile

They arrive at Chris apartment
"Well this is it. I'm glad I went shopping, want a beer?" Chris ask
"Isn't it a little early to be drinking?" Ask street
"Well the way I see it is that we have 2 weeks of our time off might as well enjoy it while we can." Chris replies and offers street a beer
Street smiles and say " can't argue with that logic now can I" as he takes the beer from Chris and their finger tips touch. It was like a bolt of electricity went through their bodies. "To day one of quarantine" Chris says as they clink there bottles together and smile at each other.
