Street POV

I'm in Chris hospital room waiting for her to come back from her scans. I decide to call the lean and give them an update. I FaceTime Luca and wait for home to answer

L: hey man how are you how's our girl Chris
T: yeah any news yet
S: I'm fine Luca and they have her in for scans. They still think it's pneumonia. Her fever is gone and her labs are good. They said she's responding to the Antibiotics. So that's good.
D: that's great street has she woken up yet
S: no she hasn't the nurse said it cause her body is trying to fight off and infection and while the antibiotics help her body is reserving her energy and that's why she's still not awake.
H: ok well kid keep us updated and if you need anything let us know I'll flash a badge to get to you ok.
S: yeah thanks I will just wanted to keep y'all updated
T,L,H,D: ok bye
S:bye

I sit and stare at my phone a little while longer. The Lock Screen a pic of me and Chris. She's gonna be ok. It's Chris we're talking about she takes down men 4 times her size she can beat a little infection.

Time jump 2 hours later
I look up when they wheel Chris back into the room. She's still asleep. I smile at the nurse and ask " how did it go" "it went well. Now we wait for the dr to read the results and let us know what's the next plan of care for her" she tells me. I nod and turn to Chris taking her hand in mine. "She's lucky she's got someone like you that loves her and looks out for her" she said and leaves the room. I brush a strand hair out of her face. Her eyes flutter open and she's looking at me. "Omg Chris hey how are you let me get the doctor" I say and go to move away but she grips my hand tighter. I look at her. " stay please" is all she says. I sit back down and hit the button to call the nurse. She walks in. "Well looks who's awake" she said with a smile. "I think u had some one a little worried about you." She said and looked at me. Chris squeezed my hand and looked at me with a sad smile. The nurse checked her vitals and all the tubes. She exchanged her face mask for a nasal cannula and told her to call if she needed anything and left the room. Chris turned her head to me and squeezed my hand. God am I so glad she's ok.
