day 12 part 3

Chris pov

I get up out of bed and head for the kitchen. I go ahead and light some candles. It getting darker as the storm is not letting up. After I finish I take a deep breath and walk over the the door and knock. "Jim can I come in" I ask. "Yeah" I hear from the other side of the door. I open the door and walk in. Jim is laying in the bed on his stomach. I walk in the room and climb onto the bed. I sit at the top of the bed. "Jim can we talk" I ask. He just nods his head yes. "Look I know ur probably upset with me and I get it. I do Jim I do love you but I'm scared. I'm scared I'm gonna screw something up and ur gonna leave and I'm gonna lose u as my best friend and my boyfriend. I'm scared that everyone at work will look at me differently because of it. I'm scared that if we move too quick it will all crash and burn. I jumped in to the relationship with ty and Kiera and it backfired and blew up In my face and I was hurt. I moved into my uncles garage. It sucked and I know ur an amazing man and I know that I want to spend forever with you but I'm scared I'm gonna lose you." I say. We sit in silence for a few mins. I lay my head against the headboard and close my eyes. I feel a shift in the bed and look over and street is sitting up looking at me.

"Im sorry" I say. He leans forward and kisses me. "You have nothing to be sorry for. Im sorry for pushing you." He says. I grab his hand and intertwine our fingers. " I want this Jim I do I want us to work more than anything. But I don't want to rush into anything" I say. "Ok. I totally get it. I waited four year to have you I can wait a little longer." He says and smiles at me. "So what are we gonna do powers still out" I say. He hums. "I'm not sure" he says and pulls me closer to him. I snuggle up to his side and lay my head on his chest. His hand runs circles aver my back and I close my eyes. Not intending it to happen but I fall asleep.

Time jump to 7pm.
Chris POV.
I wake up to a phone ringing and grab it and answer it. I didn't read the caller Id.

Ft call
L: hey how's it go.. wait Chris y r u answering streets phone and y r u 2 in bed together
Chris doesn't respond
T: hey Chris did u steel streets phone
L: no she's in bed with him
T: what what Chris when did this happen
Before she can process what she is doing she hangs up the phone and get out of bed and goes to the kitchen. I sudden movement wakes up street and he sees her leaving the room.

Street POV
I wake up to Chris leaving the bed in a hurry. I didn't even have time to call her name before she disappeared through the door. I get u land follow her to the kitchen. She's leaned against the counter drinking a beer. "Hey u ok" I ask as I walk up in front of her "yeah yeah I just freaked out I accidentally answered ur phone and now im pretty sure Luca and Tan know about us I just wanted to keep it between us a little longer" she says. "It's gonna be ok we're gonna make it work ok" I say. "Yeah ok" she says and wraps her arms around my waist and lays her head on my chest. I run her back and kiss the top of her head. "Mmmh so what are we gonna do. We still have no power" I ask. She grins at me and goes up on her tip goes to kiss me. "Well I can think of something" she says and grabs my hand and leads me to the bedroom.
