Chris pov
I wake up the next morning still curled up against Jim. He's sleeping as well. The nurse comes in with the doctor. He informs me that it is in fact pneumonia and that because I have done so well since I woke up they are willing to discharge me home with some medication today. " thank you" I say quietly. She leaves the room and street starts to move in the bed. I lift my head and look up at him as he opens his eyes. "Well good morning beautiful" he says. "Morning" I say. "Mmmh I can get used to waking up to you every morning" he says. I smile and lean up and kiss him. "Definitely get used to this" he says with a chuckle. "So the doctor came by it is pneumonia, there gonna wean me off the oxygen and there is a possibility that I could be discharged today with just some medicine" I tell him. He smile at me " that's great news. I need to call deecan and updat him." He says. "Can I" I ask. He nods and hands me his phone. I pull up Deccan contact and face time him.
D: hey street how is my girl.
Deecan freezes when he realizes it's Chris on the phone
C: hi deec
D: omg Chris are you ok you had me worried. How are you what was wrong and why is street in your bed and when did I wake up!
C: slow down deecan. I woke up yesterday night but was still pretty tired but I feel great now. It's pneumonia there weening me off the oxygen so that I can be discharged with some medicine. Hopefully today because I hate hospitals. And as for the street thing if we can keep that between us for now.
D: yeah of course I'm just glad your ok. You had us worried
C:yeah sorry about that.
Chris lays her head back on street
D: street you take care of my girl alright. She practically my daughter and I don't want to her that you made her upset cause one of us will go to jail and the other in a body bag and I can promise you I won't be in that body bag
S: yes sir I'll take care of her promise
C: deecan not necessary I can take care of myself
D: it was necessary because it's true but get better and I'll see you when you get out ok
S&C: ok bye deecan
D: bye guys
They hang up the phone and I hand it back to street.
