I wake up to the smell of Pancakes, Bacon and Eggs. I go down a spiral staircase with a blanket over me dragging on the floor. I see Jake downstairs eyebrows furrowed, cooking. As soon as he sees me he smiles "Good Morning, Lacie".
I smile "Good Morning Black". "How did you sleep"?
"Fine...More than fine". He blushes.
He sets a steaming plate of food in front of me and then he sits down. He pours me a cup of Orange juice. While eating I say "Where's Damon"?
He scrunches his face in disgust, "I threw him out this morning, I left a few marks to remind him", I cringe.
Suddenly my eyes go wide, "Where's my purse"? Jake points over to a leather couch where I see my black clutch bag. I go over quickly dropping the blanket. I have 30 missed calls, 16 from Grandma and 14 from Dawn.
"Oh sh*t!" I call my grandmother first, "Hey grandma sorry for keeping you worried I'm sleeping over at.... A friends house.
Jake looks at me funny "Seriously" he whispers then laughs.
"Don't worry, ill be home by the end of spring break", I tell her.
I hang up and then call Dawn. She starts screaming at me through the phone, when she calms down I say "Sorry, I stayed over at Jacobs house".
She sighs in relief after a brief explanation she understands, and I tell her "I'll talk to you later".
I walk back to the table and Jake comes over, holding my face "Friends don't do this", He kisses me, sending a shock through my body.
Kissing him back, I smile. He smirks and goes upstairs. I pick up the blanket and go upstairs to put it in his room. As I walk in I hear the shower running, I go in quickly tip toeing, as I set the blanket down Jake comes out in just boxers. I trip over my foot from the shock and he picks me up.
"Did you follow me?" He smiles.
"No I swear, I was putting the blanket back" I stuttered.
I look him up and down, Jesus his body is so tone and he has a tattoo, I flush red, panicking I cover my face.
He uncovers my face, smiling he says "Care to join"?
He winks and walks into the bathroom.
I'm paralyzed, biting my lip, as I slowly follow behind...
