Days Passed

"He isn't who you think he is! That isn't the version that loves you like that, you need to remember that before you fuck up our plan and break your own heart!" "Don't you think I know that!? I have to earn his trust again to maybe rule among side him when the time comes, but I can't help seeing the man I love." They sighed, "Just don't forget the plan, and if it fails then we go for the source. We're in the homestretch now, and our lives are on the line more then ever."

About 2 days had past, and no way to track them had come up even once. The most the team could do is wait until the time came, and jump onto the opportunity as fast as possible. Along with the wait, Jane was contacted after figuring out that she was the next to be attacked by whoever this person was. She was soon moved by S.H.E.I.L.D and (Y/N) got comfortable with the team. Of course, with the tense vibe that is the rogue enhanced human running around it was known that not much progress would be made in the friendship department. (Y/N) usually just helped with dinner and kept Loki at bay when it came to his antics with messing with the team and then them returning that with the attempt of murder. All in all, it was fun and everyday it felt even more safe. But of course, 2 days passed and something has to happen tomorrow, and things really did pick up since then.

It was about 2 in the afternoon when everything started to pick up for the worst. The team's nerves were growing by the minute, as well as Loki's with the concern of the only person he can stand being in possible danger. For now, they all arrived to the living room to only see Loki reading on the couch to change scenery from the library and his own room. "It's been a while since (Y/N) has even walked out her room," Natasha commented, going to get some coffee. Tony walked over to the center of the room, "Jarvis, bring up the live security feed of (Y/N)'s room please." "Of course, sir" A screen popped up of (Y/N)'s bedroom with her still in bed, sweating and her breathing speeding up slightly. "Sir, her temperature seem to be rising steadily to fever levels. It's 83 degrees and counting," Jarvis informed him. It really didn't seem that serious until she tossed over to her back and the marking on her arm had spread down to her hand and started to reach toward her shoulder.

This caught the team's attention, enough to have Thor and Loki the first ones going to check on you. The door was unlocked for some reason, being easy for the gods to open and softly sit down on the bed next to her. She felt the slight dip in the bed on both sides, and Loki's gentle touch on her forehead. "Are you alright, Lady (Y/N)?" Thor asked as her eyes slightly opened to see them, along with the rest of the team by the door. She shook her head slightly, barely being able to move an inch, only the twitch in her hands. Bruce sighed, "It's getting worse. Worse thing is, we can't treat it if we don't know what it is. Doesn't even exist in any elements or anything." Natasha slipped out the room once her phone rang while the group tried to help and examine how much it spread across her arm.

"Guys....it's time," Natasha walked back in. Just from her tone alone, an opening was given to them to quickly take. Everyone quickly made their way to the door, but Loki tried staying behind with (Y/N). "Come on, reindeer games, we need all the help we can get on this," Tony commanded. He shook his head, "I'm not leaving her like this to simply get worse. She'll be alone in this tower, and-"  "Go..." Her voice was horse and quiet, but loud enough to reach his ears. His head whipped back to her in confusion, "I'm not leaving you like this, (Y/N). No matter the situation."  "You're gonna...come....right back, right? I'll... cough...be fine here," She said with a weak smile. There was no fighting this, simply wasting time. He simply just sighed and went along with the team, letting (Y/N) to be quarantined in her room and protected by the tower's defense systems.

Earlier before the team was heading out on a led they finally got, happened to Jane Foster even with so much protection. She now hid in a hotel with multiple body guards and everything she needs right within her reach as well as the body guards willing to get things for her when necessary. They even got her a new phone and phone number just incase anyone was tracking her phone for the time being.

"I'm sure this will all blow over soon, Erik. Then I can get back to work, and forget this ever happened," Jane sighed, drying her hair after getting out of the shower. After hanging up, she simply sat with nothing to do with her time and having her mind racing with everything that's been happening. First, the reports of Loki's scepter being stolen by someone wanting to finish the job, and now she was one of their targets because of plain association with his brother. It made no sense to her at all. How did they take the scepter so easily? Why go after Jane? Who on Earth would want to finish Loki's job for him and practically be his slave if they win? But other things started to creep up her back along with these questions. For the past few days, it felt like all eyes were on her - even more then usual. Was someone watching her? To stop all of that, there was a knock on the door.

"Ms. Foster?" "Yes, that's me. Is everything alright?" It was one of the guards that was assigned to her, walking in with a worried look on his face. "There has been a person lapping the building for about 20 minutes, we need to escort you out of this building unseen before anything happens to you," He stated to her. With no second thought, she grabbed her phone and few items she had on her person before getting into this and left the room with him. They both trailed their way to the back exit, walking out towards one of the cars that was hidden in the back. As Jane was about to get into it, something told her to just wait a minute before climbing it. Something wasn't right about this. Turning around slowly to find the same guard, standing there lifeless and still, but this time with the same figure from the performance that stole the scepter behind him with a camera. "Nice to meet you, Foster~" That familiar smooth and sexy voice sounded like it smiled at her before being knocked out by someone sneak attacking her with a sharp punch in her temple.
