The Calm Before the Storm

          Catching her breath, she stood up and looked out of the window to see Surtur destroying Asgard swing by swing. "I'd never thought I'd be sad to finally watch it burn..." She said. They simply watched it be destroyed, finally having it's last stab as it blew to pieces. Loki nodded, "Neither did I, dove..." He got close to her ear, "Or should I call you wife?~" She seemed surprised, shooting him confused looks. He simply left the room, "Wait, Loki! You can't just say that and walk off, you tease!"

       Meanwhile, Thor was getting a drink. During this, he caught his reflection with his new eyepatch on, looking similar to his father's. Staring at it for a moment, Loki walked up behind him with a slight smile. "It suites you," He joked. Thor said back, "Maybe you're not so bad after all, brother." "Maybe not." He started to laugh, "Thank you. If you were here, I might even give you a hug." Throwing the lid of the drink at Loki, he caught it with ease to surprise him. Thor did look shocked, but it was replaced with a smile, "I'm here." (Y/N) then walked in, sighing, "I finally found you, you teasing sack of shit." "And so is my bride~" Thor and (Y/N) looked very surprised. "You were serious about that? Please don't play with my emotions like that," She started to laugh. He walked over and kissed her temple, "I told you that I would protect you. This is one of those ways, dove. It is a yes or a-" "Don't ask questions you know the answers to, love~" They kissed, suddenly being hugged tight by Thor. "I'm happy for the both of you," He laughed. They all laughed, Thor letting go and patting Loki on the shoulder. He smiled, "You also have my blessings. You both are made for each other anyway, there is no separating you both."

         It was time. Thor walked out through the crowd of people, all of them bowing as he walked past them. Getting to the front, he took his seat on his 'throne'. During this, Loki and (Y/N) had the chance to walk in to stand by him with smiles on their faces. "So," Heimdall started. "King of Asgard. Where to?" Thor looked around, "I'm not sure. Any suggestions?" They all were blank on some places to go. "Definitely not Mount Olympus. There would be even more war there then ever," (Y/N) said. Everyone looked at her, "What? You think some Old Norse Gods are violent, just start living with some Greek ones." Thor looked at Korg and Miek, "Miek, where are you from?" "Miek's dead," Korg answered. "Yeah, no, I accidently stomped on him on the bridge. I've just felt so guilty, I've been carrying him around all day." A second later, he woke up. He gasped, "Miek, you're alive! He's alive guys! What was your question again, bro?" Thor nodded, "Earth it is." 

         Time passed since they set the course for Earth, and the usual trio were standing in Thor's room looking out of a window. "Do you really think it's a good idea to go back to Earth?" Loki asked. "Yes, of course. The people of Earth love me. I'm very popular," Thor answered. (Y/N) hopped in, "Let me rephrase it. Do you really think it's a good idea to bring us back to Earth?" "Probably not, to be honest." She rolled her eyes, walking back. "You know," She started to talk. "I had this gut feeling that something bad was going to happen, but I think it's gone now." "Really?" She smiled at them, going next to Loki to hold his hand and kiss his cheek. "Of course, I have my now groom by my side. A brother in law I butt heads with, but still love...even if you're a bit slower at times..." (Y/N) mumbled, but Thor ended up hearing. He glared at her, getting back a smile, "And I am officially the new Goddess of Discord and Chaos. Maybe I can even claim...my.....crown.." 

     A dark shadow rose over them slowly. (Y/N) breath quickened and her grip on Loki's hand tightened. Thor was the only one not knowing what this meant, but the other two grew terrified in a short amount of time. A large ship came up beside theirs, casting a dark shadow over it. They couldn't say anything or even move. After a second, (Y/N) whispered out a single word. 

"..Thanos.."
