Time flew in the day, and (Y/N) was thinking through all of those hours. Everytime she even stepped out of her room there was multiple comments, glares, and just in all attitude towards her. It was getting really old very fast, so she had to think of something. Now, just sitting in the library to stare at the fireplace to think, Eris decided to come in. "Penny for your thoughts?" (Y/N) sighed. She started pouring out, "The rest of the team is treating me like some kind of stereotypical bullied girl in a bad 90's movie, or a child that was just put on punishment. I don't expect them to fully forgive me, but for fuck sake treat me like another adult!" Eris floated over to her and held her face in her hands.
"If you really want to have them at least treat you like another human, then do stuff for them. Just talking isn't doing any good, so you have to kiss a little ass to get on their good side a little more to then talk to them," She explained. (Y/N) nodded a bit, knowing what she had to do now for the team to at least listen to more than 2 words that come out of her mouth. Evening soon turned to the start of night, and Loki was wondering where (Y/N) was. She wasn't in the library anymore and not anywhere in their room, but one look into the main living room gave it away. Peaking in, he saw her working away in making dinner for what it looked like the whole team. On instinct, he tried getting into her head, but she stopped to smirk to herself, "You have a mouth to talk, love. Please use it~" She said to him inside his head. He chuckled, walking out to her and resting his head on her shoulder while hugging her gently. "Feeling generous, dove?" "You could say that, love," She replied.
Dinner was done, and the team was surprised to say the least that she did that for them, especially with Loki's willing help in the matter. To actually eat it, it took Steve to take a few bites of it to convince them that it wasn't poisoned or cooked wrong, but at least they ate it..? This lasted through out the next day as well; (Y/N) doing chores or something for the whole team, they nod to her and pay her no mind, Steve feels bad for her, Loki feels like stabbing them all, repeat. That cycle did break when they finished dinner, and she volunteered to clean the dishes.
"Hey, since we're all here already I just wanted to talk to you all about giving me some...basic respect as another human kind of," (Y/N) started off as she picked up the remaining dishes to put in the sink. Before her next sentence, Tony interrupted her by putting some more plates and glasses into her pile as well. She looked offended at this, "Okay, you could at least do some of these yourself. It's not that hard." "I thought you were trying to earn out trust back," Tony replied. She fired back, "And I thought you had decency." It was like everything froze in the air when he said that. In that moment, everyone watching knew that it was about to go down.
"This is coming from the person who manipulated multiple parents and possible partners while keeping the person they care about locked up in some warehouse. You talk about decency?" "Tony, for every drink you down, you sleep with 4 different women. You've killed more then me, so how are you going to talk to me like that?!" She shouted. He started to get worked up, "I'm not a criminal and terrorist who's hurt people with her monster illusions. Do you know how many people got hurt with that?!" "None, because I told them not to hurt anybody! All the buildings they were around to destroy, I had my other illusions get them out of the way so I don't hurt anybody!" The next line that flew out of his mouth started a whole rant from (Y/N) that severed the whole possibility of a fixed alliance between her and the team.
"You're a fucking threat! You and god damn Rudolph shouldn't be wandering around the fucking place to begin with!" "And you're not a fucking threat!?!" Her voice became louder the shadows in multiple places in the room grew with every pause she had in her sentences. She started screaming, "What about you fucking people?! I have not killed a single person, yet you all have and you shit on me for doing something you all have done?! Yeah, I've done some damage, of course. Natasha, Thor, you, and Bruce have a higher kill count then me!! Natasha was god damn Russian spy, Thor was an arrogant shit who almost started a war because he wanted to boast about his power, your tech has done far more harm then fucking good around the earth, and Bruce can literally turn into the Hulk who rips people apart no matter who the fuck they are! You all can easily do so much more damage then me, so don't fucking come at me with that bullshit!!" That made her slightly out of breath, stealing all of their words to leave them speechless, even Loki himself who was trying to hold in his laugh a bit.
"You can come after me all you like," She said lowly. Multiple shadows swirled around her slowly, her hair slowly floating up just like Eris's hair, and her eyes turning stern and cold. "But you never go after Loki when it doesn't even involve him," She finished. Everything went back to normal as she walked from the sink and past the team, "I don't need respect from people like you. Thank you for making me realize that." She walked out fast with Loki on her trail, trying to calm her down but also applaud her as well. They both decided to de-stress with Loki picking a book to read to her as she cuddled up to his chest and simply listened to his heart beat.
Not long after, they both heard foot steps enter that belonged Steve. He wore a sad and worried expression as he walked in to greet the two of them. "The man out of time," Loki announced. "I'm sorry," Steve cut to the chase. "I'm sorry for how we were treating you the entire time. You really can't blame him though." Loki and (Y/N) turned to him, wearing the same stone cold expression. (Y/N) said, "I know, but that doesn't excuse treating me like that when I make an effort to amend for my crimes against them. If I was really so keen on killing them or wanting to rule, I would've done it by now and would've started with you."
