Better Than You (Loki x Reader)

Vengeance

       

{Maybe my longest one, so get ready}

       The bedroom was dark, no light to get in at all. This was the state of (Y/N) as she felt like she couldn't even move after everything that happened, only having Eris by her side during it all. Sure, she didn't know Frigga for long, but it was also that it was just after meeting her. (Y/N) felt like there was some kind of curse attached to her,  whenever she got someone back to her or meets someone she really likes they're quickly killed in front of her. Does that mean that Loki was gonna be taken away again? A knock interrupted her thoughts, "Go. Away" After a few seconds, it happened again. "Are you deaf or-" "Thor requires your presence, Lady (Y/N)." He wanted to see her? Her and Eris got up, Eris opening the door, to see it was Sif and Volstagg. Looking at their body language, she knew this was important. With a big sigh, she said, "Do I have time to get dressed?"

      "What I am about to ask of you is treason of the highest order. Success will bring us exile, and failure shall mean our death. Malekith knew the Aether was here. He can sense it's power. If we do nothing he will come for it again, but this time lay waste to all of Asgard." Thor, what the group was called 'The Warriors 3', Sif, Heimdall, and (Y/N) sat at a table. They were all discussing a plan to move Jane off world and destroy it once and for all, the only problem was getting off of Asgard in the first place. "There are other paths off Asgard. Ways known to only a few," Heimdall said. "One actually..." Thor corrected. He looked over at (Y/N) and she knew exactly what he meant with that look. The rest started to realize what he meant, "No.." Volstagg said in rejection. Thor ignored this, "(Y/N) you will come with me" "Well duh, you do want him to help us, right?" 

        A walk of silence to the dungeons, laying their eyes upon Loki simply standing there. "Thor. After all this time and now you come to visit me. Why?" He asked in anger. His eyes didn't even touch (Y/N), but that was okay since she already knew that this wasn't actually him. "Have you come to gloat? To mock?" "Loki, enough. No more illusions." He looked offended, but it was replaced with a look of defeat as he simmered away in a green light. This was the real him; sitting in the corner, everything torn up and a mess, his eyes red as hell, and finally having tear stains all over his face. "Now you see me..." He said. They both walked around to the side, and (Y/N) sat right beside Loki with a sad smile. "Hello love..." "Hello again, dove.." He said softly. His eyes went back to Thor, "Did she suffer?" "I did not come to share our grief. Instead I offer you a chance of a far richer sacrament." "Go on." 

       Thor started to explain, "I know you seek vengeance as much as I do. You help me escape Asgard, and I will grant it to you. Vengeance and afterwards, this cell." Loki took a minute to think, then started to laugh, "You must be truly desperate to come to me for help." "It's Thor, he has to be desperate at least every event," (Y/N) said to herself without realizing that they heard it. She only found out when she saw Thor eyes burning a hole through her head, causing her to turn away. Loki continued, "What makes you think you can trust me?" "I don't." (Y/N) looked at him in confusion. "Mother did, " Thor said. He knew just what to say to him, getting a muffled sad reaction out of Loki. "But you should know that when we fought each other in the past, I did so with a glimmer of hope that my brother was still in there somewhere. That hope no longer exist to protect you." Out of the corner of his eye, Thor saw (Y/N) give his glare right back to him. He added on, "You betray me, and I will kill you. The both of you." She laughed at that part, "This is no time for humor, Thor."

       Loki was out, having a hug with (Y/N) when he could, and they were all off on their mission. On the way, Loki did have a bit of his fun of using his magic to chance (Y/N) and himself into different people. Guards, Steve and Tony from the team, and turning Thor into Lady Sif. That ended when Thor spotted some guards walking by. Loki rolled his eyes, "You could at least furnish me with a weapon. My dagger, something." Thor stared at him in disbelief, but gave in. What he thought was his dagger, it was actually handcuffs. Loki was visibly annoyed by this, "What? I thought you liked tricks." Thor then turned to (Y/N), getting closer to her. He softly said in a threatening tone, "Stay. Here." "Do that again, and I'll take you eye," She said back then watched him walk away. With them alone Loki looked over at her, "My dove is learning so well~" "I do learn from the very best after all." After that, she kissed him on the cheek.
