      "You are slowly running out of time with my patience, child. How much longer will it be?" "Soon. I have my plan all together, I must simply pull the trigger and start it all. I have multiple safe guards in place to not fail in the slightest." "Good. Remember that if you fail, you will have the same fate as him." "But if I don't, you will protect the both of us. You remember your side of the deal as well."

       When the team came back with multiple bruises and Jane by Thor's side since he realized how paranoia finally felt, but (Y/N) wanted to help them as best as she can. The bruises weren't major, but the most that was needed is the basic first aid kit and stitches. "Your mark went back to normal," Bruce pointed out. She nodded, "Yeah, it went down before you guys got back along with my fever. It's strange." It really was strange, so when everyone was somewhat healed and taken care of, Bruce and Tony decided to take a blood sample just in case. Maybe there was something that they could do to help her.

      "She didn't kill me," Jane said to herself. While Tony and Bruce was with (Y/N) in the lab, Jane decided to finally speak up about that weird moment with her kidnapper. "What was that, Jane?"  "During the fight, she was thrown to where she saw me hiding behind a tree. She had the moment to kill me, but didn't take it," She told Thor. He looked over at her, "A person like that probably wanted to kill you at the right time. Either way, I will not them hurt you again." She smiled and kissed him on the cheek. After a while, Jane was put in another place under tighter security as well as having (Y/N) being put into the question of being somewhere else as well. Loki didn't let them take her away, and the rest of the day was tense. No one really relaxed, only waited until something else happened like watching a scary movie and waiting for the next jumpscare.

      A day went by, and the air was less tense then yesterday but still heavy. So to try and at least take some load off for the team, (Y/N) decided to wake up earlier to make them all breakfast. Nothing like some eggs, pancakes, bacon, and grits not made by you to cheer you up a bit. "Friday, can you call the team down here for breakfast please? Include Loki as well," (Y/N) started to set the table with plates full of food as she heard the elevator doors open and footsteps getting louder. (Y/N) spoke up, "Before any of you say anything, I wanted to do this for you all as a thanks and possible stress reliever for you guys....where the hell is Loki?" From simply looking through the team in their half awake states, Loki was not found among them. The rest of the team sat down to enjoy the food. "This is simply normal for him, Lady (Y/N)," Thor said before stuffing his face with eggs. (Y/N) didn't just leave this alone of course, "Friday, where is Loki?" "He states that he isn't hungry at the moment" "Tell him the order was from me, that should get him down here quicker." The team all smirked at each other seeing her reactions and tones.

       Loki finally walked in, and had his eyes immediately on (Y/N), "I informed you that I wasn't hungry." She walked to him with a plate, "I may not be the walking lie detector like you, but I can sense a lie at times. This time, I sensed it." Holding it out to him, she smiled at him. "I made this plate just for you as well, doing some research into more...proper meals that fit your personality and needs. You don't have to eat with the team, I just want you to eat well. Now you can't refuse the meal, Loki of Asgard," Her tone was mischievous and playfully guilt trippy, especially with that smile that made him smile a bit as well. He took the plate, "You are a fast learner (Y/N), and thank you for the meal." "You are very welcome, and maybe....we can read together in the library again today?" He nodded and left with his plate, leaving the team behind her to start quietly snickering.

      "Just watching you two is like reading a bad fanfiction," Tony laughed. (Y/N) rolled her eyes at that comment, "You must read some to know when you see some in real life, right?" That got him quiet for a bit. Of course, there was more teasing and questioning of my relationship with Loki from the team, but we were simply friends that help each other.....only friends. Some time passed until Loki and I finally met up in the library. I surprised him with some tea that we can drink during our reading, so tried to step up with two slices of chocolate cake. My book was (F/B = Favorite Book) and Loki's choice was A Tale of Two Cities, it was just something he hasn't read yet on Midgard. Just to sit by him with the fireplace crackling in the background, books in hand and hot tea to drink, sitting in comfortable silence is like heaven. Then it hit me, but not in the way I though I could ignore like the other times. "I was reading a book in the past, " I started looking up from my book. "The plot was very interesting as well, but still one of those bad romance books." "I would love to hear about it if you are willing to tell me."

     "It was about this king and a maid. At first, it wasn't much of anything, but after a while they started to talk with each other and notices that they aren't really that different. After a few months, he teaches her how to fight and protect herself and they grow even closer to the point where they start courting. Of course, there were ups and downs, but in the end they almost got married to each other," I explained. He looked confused for a minute, "Almost?" She shrugged in response of that, "It ended with a cliff hanger. There wasn't any information or sequel to it, so it hurt pretty bad to never see what else happened. I sometimes daydream about that happening to me..." It was obvious to Loki that this put me in sour mood. He tried to look inside my head one more time and sees only a glimpse of something.

     It was (Y/N) and some other man in a suit, kissing each other in what seemed like a master bedroom. It was so short for him, but it stuck long enough to try and figure who he was in his head. Maybe it was simply a fantasy created by (Y/N), but it didn't feel like that at all.

{Hello to all zero people reading this. I have to break this part into parts, because it's running too long in one chapter. Also, I keep switching back and forth from 3rd person and 1st person, and I'm sorry. I'll most likely stick to 3rd person after this, or at least try to}
