Malekith was coming to the Aether as they were going to him, everything was going as planned. They hopped off to crouch down on top of a hill, watching Malekith and his minions walk out of the ship. Thor turned to Jane, "Are you ready?" (Y/N) felt Loki grab her hand tightly, and gave him the same feeling. "We are," He looked over at him. Thor, Loki, and (Y/N) stood up to look down onto him as he looked back. "You know this plan of yours is gonna get us killed." "Yes, possibly," She did have to admit that Thor knew how to throw some of his one liners right back at him. He held out his wrist to Thor, wanting out of his cuffs, "Do you still not trust us, brother?" "Would you?" Even with that little rhetorical question, Thor unbounded him. During this, Loki used his telepathy with (Y/N), "Is your illusion set, darling?" "Of course, just aim for minor spots to not make it disappear," She replied. Without there knowing, (Y/N) swiftly replaced herself with one of the clones of her and hide inside the shadows to watch everything unfold until the proper time came for her to emerge.

"No, I wouldn't," Loki said lowly, stabbing Thor in the stomach and throwing him down the hill. He then grabbed "(Y/N)" by the throat and threw her down as well, walking down behind them and Jane running after them all. Loki kicked Thor in the jaw to cause him to flip over, and "(Y/N)" coughed as she got up to try and stop Loki. He snarled at her, throwing another dagger into her stomach, keeping her down but not killing her. Thor tried to call on his hammer, but Loki was quick to chop off his hand. Jane ran up to both Thor and "(Y/N)" to see if they were okay, only to be manhandled by Loki towards Malekith. "Malekith!" Loki growled. "I am Loki of Jotunheim, and I bring you a gift!" He threw Jane to his feet. "I ask for only one thing in return, a good seat from which to watch Asgard burn." Malekith's eyes didn't change looking upon what was in front of him, let this work or Thor will actually be a dead man.

It did, Malekith drew the Aether out of Jane as they all watched it happen. Jane fell to the ground, now was the time. "Loki! (Y/N)! Now!" Thor yelled out. Loki took down the illusion on Thor to turn him back to normal and (Y/N) made her clone disappear as she ran out towards them. Loki ran to cover Jane as (Y/N) ran to cover them both with a shield as Thor summoned his lightening to attack the Aether while it was still in the air. A big explosion pushed them back a bit and left a huge silence that seemed like the calm after the storm. (Y/N) took down their defense slowly to see what was happening, but the sight wasn't what they wanted to see. It didn't work, and Malekith still got the power of the Aether.

He walked back to his ship and other came out with guns pointed at them, Thor quickly got to fighting. One of the bigger monsters took something off of their belt, throwing it back at Loki, (Y/N), and Jane. Loki's first move was to push them both out of the way, letting the similar black hole slowly suck up Loki. (Y/N) was quick to grab his hand, but it started to take the both of them. Thor tackled them both out of it's grab, looking at each other  with an affirming nod. The battle was just beginning. Malekith and his servants was almost completely in their ship, but Thor threw his hammer to stop them and (Y/N) formed a lasso to pull some of them back. It didn't work too well, as the big one took one of it to throw her away.

Loki ran over to her, quickly helping her up as a group of dark elves surrounded them. With a quick glance to each other, they smirked and got their weapons ready. Loki took about 3 on the left and (Y/N) took the last 2 on the right, with (Y/N) turning her shadows into different weapons to attack them while Loki stuck with his daggers and going for their weak spots as quick as they could. (Y/N) saw the fight Thor was having with the bigger one, and he had a giant rock hurdling towards his face. She threw some of her magic Thor's way, protecting him from the rock with a stronger and bigger shield for him. They didn't have time to do any gesture to each other as the fight never stopped, only when Loki and (Y/N) took down the smaller troop that did surround them.

Thor was having his ass handed to him, Loki saw this first and had (Y/N) fly them over quickly to impale the monster before she could do any damage. (Y/N) helped Thor up, but looking back at the monster she saw him stab Loki back with the same weapon stick out of it's chest. Thor and (Y/N) both cried out, "Loki!!" He threw him away, and of course (Y/N) was the first one to his body. His body twitched and his breathing sped up, "See you in hell, monster." He used his own tactic against the monster, making his body implode on itself to kill it finally. Thor ran over now, holding Loki, "You fool, you didn't listen." "I know, I'm a fool...I'm a fool.." (Y/N) started to cry, holding his face in her hands. She sobbed out, "You can't die on me. Not again, Loki, you promised me!" "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" He shushed him.

"I'll tell father what you did here today," Thor tried to comfort him. Loki's body got more limp, but (Y/N)'s body shook him more as the tears just kept coming. "I didn't do it for him," Loki's voice got softer. His eyes landed on (Y/N) crying face, slowly bringing his hand up to her cheek, "I love you with all of my heart, my beautiful dove." His hand fell and Loki died in their arms. "No!!" Thor yelled out as he cried. All there was with (Y/N) was tears and her body shaking, no sound or noise coming from her once so ever. Eris and Jane watched from afar, looking sad and mournful seeing the sight. (Y/N) held Loki tightly, "Not again....why does this happen?!" Thor stood up and looked over at Jane, who helped him walk somewhat. "(Y/N)," Thor called out to her. "We have to leave now." "Leave me..." He was about to say something else, but Eris stopped him. She nodded her head, "Leave her behind for now." Jane objected to this, but Eris didn't budge. "She can't stay here, it's-" "Even if she did come back with the both of you, we all know with how much grief in losing Loki like this will simply consume her. She'll try and kill Malekith, but she won't stop there out of sheer anger. Go without her, and defeat him...for all of us." They did as she said, and left them both there to sit next to Loki's body as (Y/N) cried.

Minutes passed for them, and Eris sighed, "You know we need to leave now, (Y/N). The convergence is starting to take place." "...I can't leave him" Her voice cracked. She didn't move a bit, so Eris had to pick her up and carrying her to a shadow to take them back to Asgard. (Y/N) still didn't move in the slightest as they went back, once back and looking at her room, she felt a flood of anger and sadness wash over her. Eris disappeared to simply watch (Y/N) scream and cry while destroyed the room and everything she could. It all ended with (Y/N) sitting in the corner, holding one of his daggers and the necklace given to her by Frigga.
