OH BIG NEWS: I was tweeting on my friend's account (cause I'm epic like that) & i tweeted something about you insulting Melee & me ruining your face AND HE FOLLOWED ME!!!!!! Well... He followed her account but technically he was following me because that was my tweet. xD

Chapter 31

Break your heart

I sat on the edge of my bed and looked down at Ross, who was lying on the floor on his stomach.

"I have to Skype my family..." He muttered. "They have no idea about anything that's happened since I've gotten here... Except that you took me back..." He said sheepishly.

He skyped Rydel, and within seconds she immediately picked up. "Ross!" She squeaked. "Everyone's missed you SO much! When are you coming back?"

Ross glanced nervously at me; Rydel couldn't see me because of the way Ross was holding his phone. "Um... About that... Er... Can you get everyone else on too?"

"Sure! But why?" She twirled a strand of her hair and said in a baby voice, "Is someone homesick?"

"Uh...." Ross took a deep breath. "Rydel, ok, I'll tell you first. A... A lot has happened since I came here. For instance... Well, Jordan took me back; you knew that. Uhm... I- I'm engaged and--" he said quickly.

Rydel cut him off. "WHAT?!" Her eyes grew big.

"You didn't let me finish," he muttered, avoiding her gaze.

"WHAT? You can't get married! No!" She shook her head vigorously.

"Well, besides the fact that Jordan and I want to spend the rest of our lives together, Jordan... Uh..." I could tell Ross really didn't want to lie to rydel's face. "Jordan's pregnant." He said quickly, suddenly very interested in my non-existing rug.

"Dude... You knocked up your girlfriend?! What the heck happened?! You would've NEVER done that before you left here!" Hurt shown in rydels eyes, and I could just see Ross's heart breaking.

"No, Rydel," I lay down on top of Ross, resting my chin on the top if his head. "I... I'm not pregnant."

"Then why'd Ross--" confusion glowed in rydel's eyes.

"Because! My family found out about the marriage thing, and they'd NEVER let us get married if we didn't have a better reason than loving each other to get married at sixteen." I scratched behind my ear.

"So Jordan lied and said another reason we had to get married was because she was pregnant... With my baby," Ross looked at Rydel.

Rydel's jaw dropped. "You-- what-- I HAVE to tell riker this! RIKER!" She shouted.

"NO!" Ross and I shouted together.

"No one else but you can know we lied about that!" Ross's voice got high pitched.

"What do you mean?! So you're saying riker, rocky, ryland, and ratliff can't know the truth?!"

"Carly and her brothers and Brenda don't know!" I said.

Riker walked in then. "Yep?" Then he saw that rydel was skyping me and Ross. "Ross!" His face lit up. "Hi jord!" He smiled.

Ross grinned and laughed nervously. "Hi."

Rydel bit her lip. "Ross and Jordan have some big news," she finally said.

Riker looked at us expectantly.
