Chapter 8: The Way That You Do

Do you like Greyson Chance? I do. He's epic. Love him!!! I'm going to meet him one day. Maybe give him some strange toy or something to remember me by. I'm sorry. It's night and I'm really awkward at night. Just ask any of my friends! Ooh!!!!! Austin & Jessie & Ally premiers tomorrow!!! Oh today i also won a signed photo of Kat McNamara from Kat herself! And she tweeted me twice and DM'd me. Be jealous (; don't know who she is? Look her up on IMDB! She played the redhead on Girl Vs. Monster and she's done tons of other stuff too!!! She's so sweet :) hey anyone know who Brandon Drahos is? Yes? No? Kind of? Either way, you should totally check him out on YouTube, he's amazing. Just don't listen to the tuned ones... They ruin his angelic voice. His "wanted" by something Hayes i think is really awesome! It definitely made me feel WANTED. Oh did i mention Jordan Jansen tweeted me the other day?! Probably. ANYWHO, i ADORE him, and I've been trying to get a tweet from him for a couple months! Just minutes before he tweeted my friend Erin, and i started flipping out on her about it and WHADDYA KNOW BAM Jordan replied to this awkward if-you-ever-tweeted-me-I'd-run-into-a-wall-from-excitement tweet!!!!!!! But i just love him so much. Maybe we could get married or something.

Chapter 8

The Way That You Do

Two weeks later, i was WAY better, and Ross had invited me to an Austin & Ally taping.

"C'mon!" Ross pleaded, grabbing my hand. "It'll be fun! And you can finally see what consumes my time."

I gave in.

The next day Ross rushed through my bedroom door, not caring to knock on either the front door or my door.

"You ready?" he asked excitedly.

"What?" i spun to face him, having not heard him come up. I was wearing a large Oregon Ducks shirt that was at least four sizes too big, my hair looked like a bird's nest, and i was wearing these big ugly baggy pants. "Dude... It's 9. I just woke up..."

"Come on! You can come to the set with me and hang out with Rydel, and watch rehearsals!!" he laughed at my failed attempt to fix my hair and wrinkled clothes. "You look fine..." he winked and started singing, "'Cause you're amazing... Just, the way, you are!!!" he dragged the "are" out and made it really long, then surged forward and kissed me quickly.

"So. Get dressed, eat something... Then we'll go?" he grinned and played with my fingers.

"Okay," i laughed, blowing my hair out of my face.

I threw on an outfit that Carly had laid out for me the day before, brushed my teeth. Then i raced downstairs and into Ross's arms, who was standing at the foot of the steps. I laughed and pushed him away, then ran and got something to eat.

Soon enough i was sitting in the passenger seat of Ross's car and Rydel was talking to her friend on the phone in the back. Ross had one hand on mine again, and he whispered, "You know... At the hospital? The um... Fight? We would've been fine if you hadn't come."

"Yeah right!" i scoffed.

"He got angry that you didn't want him there, but you wanted all us... Um... Boys..."

"All you boys? What--" and then i realized: there HAD been a lot of boys there. All the Lynch's, all of Carly's brothers... "Oh..."

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why did you suddenly just say that?"

"I thought of it and thought i should tell you..."

Then Rydel yelped, "Ross! Are we there yet?"

We dropped the subject and Ross turned to look at her. "Almost."

"Can you hurry? I really have to pee." she made a strange face that sent Ross and i into a fit of giggles.

On set, Rydel and i ran around shouting and jumping. The cast kept getting distracted by us, especially Ross and Laura, so we were forced to leave to Ross's dressing room.

After rehearsals were done, Ross and i hung out in his dressing room while Rydel ran around with raini.

Pretty soon it was time for him to go film, and he started changing. I got up to leave and he said, "No! It's ok. I just have to change my shirt."

He took off his shirt and smiled, then came over to me where i was sitting on the little couch in his dressing room. He sat down next to my and i sat on top of him, curling my legs around his waist and pressing my head into his chest. He smiled and leaned down and kissed me. The butterflies fluttered in my stomach, and my heart started beating quickly. I could feel Ross's heartbeat and it was three times quicker than usual. He pushed harder into me and i him.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him, and i combed my fingers through his hair. His hands moved up my back to my neck, and then he started twirling my hair between his fingers.

There was a knock at the door, but neither of us noticed. Then Laura walked in and said, "Ross, time to--" and then she saw us. She cleared her throat loudly and i jumped off of Ross. "Filming." and she left.

Ross grinned at me and changed into a new shirt, gave me a quick kiss, then left for the live taping.

Rydel jumped in to grab me, and then we went and stood in the back of the audience.

I must admit, the taping was very fun. But apparently Ross and Laura had a few kissing scenes in this episode that i hadn't known about. I made a mental note to ask Ross about it later. At the end, when Rydel and i went backstage, Ross picked me up and twirled me. I laughed and he put me down as he leaned in and kissed me, his hand on the back of my neck.

I turned around just in time to see Laura frisking away, the smile off her face.
