CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

ELLIE

"You one hundred percent sure about this?" Lindsay asks me for the millionth time on the way here. Like go, if I wasn't sure I wouldn't be getting it now would I. 

Placing my hands on the sides of his face, I connect our lips momentarily before patting his chest. "What tattoo are you getting?" 

Yesterday he decided on getting a tattoo, He hasn't told me what he's getting yet but I'm sure it's good. He books a slot here this morning. 

"You'll see when it's done," Lindsay says before he's called back into the room he's getting tattooed in. I wait for the lady doing mine. She had to go set up the area. 

I'm so nervous about getting a tattoo for the first time. They already have my design and everything because I came in for a consultation to see if they could do it before I just booked. This is a big first tattoo and I don't want someone who inexperienced to do it. 

I'm sure mom will freak when she sees the tattoo but I don't care, It's my body so it's my choice. She doesn't have to look at it if she doesn't want to. 

Maria appears at the doorway to the rooms in the back, "I can take you back now Ellie," She says and I nod. Following her back, when we get into the room I hop onto the bed. "So I hope you picked a location, my dear," Maria asks and I laugh. 

When I was here for my consultation I have no idea where to put it. I was going to put it on my shoulder but I besides against it seeing out I expanded the tattoo, which I sent in last week. She approved and said she could do it. 

I also looked at her portfolio and everyone's here, she was the best for me so she is who I was going with. " well since I added the roses and the chains I was thinking of putting it on my upper thigh and having it come up," I tell her as she continues to prep. 

The tattoo design that I created what a woman, her eyes were closed and half of her face was falling off in pieces. She had something like a flower crown but it was skulls instead. That was what it originally was. 

Then I added five huge roses to surround her and made it so the roses were coloured and she was shaded in black. 

"I actually think that suits you, I'm just waiting on Stella to bring me in the stencil, I spilt my coffee on the first one this morning but how about we start getting you prepped," Maria says and I nod. 

During our consultation, Maria had given me a list of things I should wear based on where I was getting the tattoo which is was I wore sweat pants and a bikini bottom that ties on the side. 

Sliding my leg out of the sweat pants and I also untie the one side and pull up my hoodie so the area is exposed to her. The sweat pants and hoodie were so I was warm and comfy. I'm going to be here a long time so might as well be comfy. 

Maria begins to clean my skin by wiping rubbing alcohol over my leg that is already shaved. There is a light knock on the door and the door opens. Stella, who I met in the consultation, hands Maria something that looks like a piece of paper but it's the stencil. 

Stella leaves and Maria starts to make little cuts in the paper so it fits right on my leg. "So how's it with your friend, was that him who came in with you this morning?" Maria asks, I did talk to her about my personal life a bit. 

She knows I was just starting to see Lindsay, seeing how I had the consultation the day after I kissed him. "It's going good, he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes," I say with a smile, I still can't believe he asked me to be his girlfriend. 

"Girl, that man is fine, I bet he's even better in bed," she says as she is doing something I can't see. She pressed the paper to my leg and then a few seconds later peels it off. "You want to see how it looks and the placement?"
