LINDSAY

It's a week away from Christmas.

We're flying into New York tomorrow despite my mom saying it's not a good idea. Mattew said that I could stay at his house, he didn't even care that I and Ellie will be sharing a room.

He's really coming around to the fact that I'm dating Ellie. Speaking of Ellie. She's been using every excuse not to sleep in the same bed as me since she came home from the hospital a few days ago.

Something is going on with her and I'm going to find out what. I'm not going to be a shitty boyfriend and let her come to me. That's absolute bullshit. Sure sometimes that works but not with Ellie.

She's way too stubborn for that.

But I am worried about her. She's been pushing me away and I've been trying to push myself into her life.

At least she's been doing something though. She has been painting, by herself though. She won't let me come in though. Even when she's just drawing she won't let me see.

"Ellie? can I come in?" I softly knock on her door. She hasn't come out for breakfast and it's already noon. I haven't even been here yet.

Instantly opening the door when I hear crying. When I find her standing in front of her mirror shirtless my heart breaks. She's running her fingers gently along the closed wound from her surgery.

Hearing me come in she turns me. Her face covered in tears. "Look at me, I'm ugly," She cries out before covering her mouth dropping to her knees.

Quickly getting to her side I wrap my arms around her. I know that I don't know what she is going through right now, she's hurting in ways I don't understand and I know not. But I won't leave her. Not not, not never.

"Your beautiful in my eyes, this scar, is only a symbol of how strong you are," I tell her holding her head against my chest. Her cries don't lessen.

Pressing my lips to her forehead leaves a kiss. "where did my rose go," I softly ask her. using the nickname she told me to use.

She grips my shirt turning her head into my chest. "Wheres my little rose," I ask her resting my head on her shoulder hugging her tightly.

Ellie moves back slightly and looks at me. I move to gently cup her tear-stained face. "Your the most beautiful woman out there, if I have to tell you that every day I will," I tell her making her smile.

One thing I hate more than anything is seeing her cry. "Now come one, you haven't eaten all morning," I tell her gently pushing her off of me and getting up.

Helping her to her feet we leave her room and head to the kitchen. She sits at the counter as I cook her some lunch.

"You want me to go get you a shirt?" I ask her realizing she is still shirtless and only in her very sexy bra and sweats.

She giggles and pretends to look offended. Ellie gets up and walks around the counter putting her hands on her hips. "What, I thought you said I was beautiful and now you want me to cover-up? how rude."

Walking up to her I grab her hips backing her into the wall. "Your right, you are very beautiful but my little Rose that isn't the problem here," I tell her pulling her hips against mine causing her to gasp.

This girl is so damn irresistible which is why I love her so much. " I'd say you have a problem," She says biting her lip. Looking me in my eyes before putting her hands behind her and I look at her confused.

"I don't suppose this helps," was all she says before her bra falls to the ground, instantly look down at her very beautiful chest I look back up at her.
