CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

LINDSAY

"Stop! Let go of me!" I hear someone yell causing me to wake up. I turn over to see Ellie heavily sweating and she looks distraught but she's sleeping.

She's having a nightmare.

Ellie starts crying and moving around as I try to wake her up. "Please stop, please!" She screams before her eyes shoot open and she quickly turns to me.

She is breathing heavy and is still crying as she buries her head into my chest. I hate that she has nightmares like this. I want them to go away.

Looking over at my nightstand I can see that it's four in the morning. "You okay baby, I'm here" I soothe her as she holds onto me.

I stay away for four hours to make sure she doesn't wake up with another nightmare. She stays attached to me the entire time but peacefully asleep which makes me happy.

Watching her sleep for four hours lets you think, I didn't want to disturb her with my phone or the tv so I just watch her. When are we going to tell our parents we are dating? We can't hide it forever.

How will Naomi react because I remember all the stern talking she always gave me to stay away from Ellie. That Ellie wasn't someone I could date. Well, I don't take orders from my sister and plus, I'm pretty sure Naomi and Ellie have hit a very rocky patch in their relationship as friends.

Like, I know something happened between them and James, I know something else big happened that caused a drift in them and then the recent turn of events. Ellie keeps forgiving her but I don't know how many more times she can keep doing that.

Yes Naomi is my sister and I should side with her, but she's been such an ass lately to everyone. I don't know why but she has and she's going to ruin everything great that's happened in her life.

"Goodmorning," I hear and I look down to see Ellie staring at me. she stretches out one arm before clinging back onto me.

Kissing her head she smiles at me. "Morning beautiful, ready for a day full of cooking," I say and she groans. Cassie and Avery will be here in an hour and a half and Casey will be here in an hour.

Ellie sits up and her very messy hair goes everywhere. "I'm going to take a shower," She says getting off the bed and she looks for a shirt. she's grown a habit of sleeping in her bra and underwear.

Not that I mind.

I love that tattoo on her. It suits her so much. She ends her search by giving up and she turns back to me while standing in the doorway with a smirk. "Your welcome to join me," She says before exiting the room.

Jumping out of bed I enter the bathroom and she's brushing her hair and she laughs seeing me. I close the door. You never know. She bends over and turns on the water and then turning the shower on. She slides the shower door close before looking at me.

"Would you mind unclipping my bra?" she asks turning her back to me. I grab the band of her bra before unclipping it. Ellie lets her bra drop.

She slides her underwear down her legs and steps into the shower, "You getting in or what," She says and I quickly take my sweat pants and boxers off before joining her in the shower.

Ellie stands under the water and squeezes her eyes shut. We switch places as she grabs the shampoo which I grab from her and I squeeze onto her head making her giggle.

Ellie turns around as I massage the shampoo into her hair. Ellie leans her head forward enjoying it. once I've very thoroughly massaged the shampoo into her hair we trade places and I wash it out of her hair.
