Which nuts are used in marzipan?

"Almonds!" All of us shout at the same time, sharing a laugh afterwards.

"That was way too easy for somebody who could scrap it off of a cake and eat it plain." I say, remembering how I would always eat all the marzipan from birthday cakes at parties when the others didn't like it. Who doesn't like marzipan?

"Now I know what I'm gonna get you for Christmas." Luke answers next to me, his arm casually resting on the top of my chair.

He, Sammy, Mike, Marie and I all went to a classic British pub for their annual pre-Christmas eve quiz night and I have been loving it so much so far. Uncle Josh and Aunt Candice volunteered to keep an eye on Sophie, Josh and Ella since they had to finish up some work at home anyways. However, I now know why the Brits get so hooked up on going to the pub together. I want to do this at least once a week from this moment on.

"If you want me to be rushed to the ER from too much sugar consume, go ahead." I smile in a grim way and he rolls his eyes.

"Man, how could you guess what my special surprise for you was? Now you ruined the concept of a surprise."

How dare he?

"Watch what you plan on doing to my daughter." Mike warns him with an accusing finger and then looks over to Sammy, "You too."

"Hey! I didn't do anything this time." He raises his hands up in defence, sounding highly offended.

"You better not have." He smiles, taking a sip of his scotch.

"I think he doesn't even want to know what I have planned for you tonight." Luke whispers in my ear seductively and I feel shivers run down my spine, goosebumps rise up on my arms.

"Should I be worried?" I whisper back, batting my eyelashes in an innocent way.

"Not for now," His eyes light up with mischief and I raise an eyebrow before he voices his though, "Let's make a bet. If I get more answers right than you do tonight, we get to spend the night to my likings and if you get more right, I'll do anything you want."

I think for a second. Anything I want? Hell yes.

"Deal."

"Deal." He kisses me quickly to confirm our little intern arrangement which we both know will eventually lead to one thing at the end of it: sex.

The next round of questions comes on and I lean my elbows on the table in full out game mode, ready to win his unlimited services tonight.
