Rea's POV

The sun shined through the window, waking me up. It startles me when I open my eyes to see Lily cuddled up next to me, it takes me a moment to remember I stayed. Now I never want to move. She curled the comforter under her chin, bundling it up where I can assume she's warm.

She looked so peaceful. So effortlessly beautiful.

The house was silent, the only sound was the wind outside. I want to stay here, never leave this moment, but after minutes of silence, I can't sit here any longer. I sit up, leaning toward her to shake her awake. At first, I was hesitant, not wanting to bug her, but I would rather not roam her house alone.

"Mm go away." she says, pulling the cover over her head, I chuckle, but pull it back.

"This is your house, I'm not roaming it myself."

She rubs her eyes, but when we make eye contact she sits up and pokes my cheek, seeming relieved I'm actually sitting in front of her.

"I'm so glad it wasn't a dream."

"Well yes I'm real and hungry, so get up." my stomach grumbles on cue, "I'll even make it if you show me where stuff is." she smiles,

"I like that idea, follow me."

I do as she says, silently following behind her as she strolls into her kitchen. It was nicer than mine, probably because her mom liked other people seeing it. My kitchen was great, definitely homier, but that's because my mom designed it for us, not the outside world.

"So all the pans are in here, most of the food is in the fridge or over in the pantry. I usually don't open the pantry because our fridge is full, but this kitchen is now yours. Now feed me.'' I chuckle, letting her sit down while I look at what I have to work with. She meant it when she said it was full, this looks like when we first go grocery shopping at my house.

"Mm eggs? Bacon, and...."

"Waffles!"

"Waffles it is."

Lily never did let me cook alone. Right after I put the bacon in the pan she hurried over to me and started on the waffle batter, ignoring my protests until I gave up with a sigh. She winks at me, happy she was able to help. It was fun, we don't act awkward, not like we actually met last night. We act as if we've known each other all our lives and this is just another sleepover.

"Go sit down," I order, trying to get her to let me finish breakfast. But of course, she ignores me, rolling her eyes and continuing with what she was doing.

"Come on, I'm serious, I wanna make us breakfast."

"Well that sounds like a you problem, I'm helping and that's that. Miss, I'm gonna fly out without telling her and not letting her help with the expenses."

"Oh, will you shut up?"

"I will if you let me help."

"I hate you."

"You love me. Now finish the eggs stupid I'm hungry." I roll my eyes, letting out a low chuckle at how her face does this cute scrunch when she's trying to win.

I also slept amazing last night, like I didn't have a single worry in the world. Lily made me feel safe. It was comforting, but I can tell the hotel won't give me the same satisfaction the rest of the week.

My ringtone interrupts my thoughts, I stop what I'm doing to tilt my phone towards me, seeing my mom is face timing me.

"Who is it?" Lily asks, I show her and she snatches the phone from my hand, answering it quickly.
