Levi was surprised to find out that Elisa was a relative of some people he knew. he just stares at her as she glared at the Female Titan. Mikasa glared at the Titan also.
"he's still alive in there. this Titan is different; it acts with purpose. if she wanted Eren dead, she could've simply crushed him. no, she needs him for something. but she also needs her hands to fight, so she's been holding him on her tongue." Elisa elaborated on what she meant.
"it is possible she just wanted to savor her quarry. in which case it's likely he's already been swallowed. if so, he's dead." Levi said. "he's alive!" Elisa said angrily.
Levi just looks at her. he didn't wanna blow his cover, so he had to say something that would be more than likely himself. "someone's optimistic." Levi sarcastically said. Elisa just scoffs.
"if you had just done your goddamn job and protecting him like you were supposed to, we wouldn't be having this conversation!" Elisa remarked. "with all due respect, i 100% agree with Lizzie." Mikasa agreed with Elisa.
Levi gasps and moves to the front to where Elisa and Mikasa were to examine their faces to find out who they truly are. "oh, i see now. you two are Eren's closest friends, right? especially in Elisa's case." Levi said. Elisa gasps at this statement. "suddenly, it's all making sense." Mikasa just looks at him while Elisa was appalled.
"right. for the sake of argument, let's narrow our goals. first, we forget about taking her down." Levi explained.
"no way. she's killed too many of our people for that. she's dead." Mikasa said. which was true. so many people died on this mission because of the Female Titan. you wouldn't be the first to know it.
"she's got defenses that neither of us have been trained to deal with. i'm telling you it's a lost cause. instead, we'll act on Elisa's assumption that Eren is alive and focus only on him before she exits the forest. i'll handle all the cutting. you two find a way to distract her." Levi explained. "right." Elisa and Mikasa said in unison.
Mikasa and Elisa accelerate their ODM gear to move in front of the Female Titan while Levi was behind the Titan. after a short moment of the Titan running, it went to punch Levi, but he reacted quickly by spinning really fast to cut across her arm up to her shoulder. he got to her face and she started to fall back while Levi was still on top of her face.
Levi then sliced her up from head to toe, not giving her any time to react. holy shit! he's so fast! she doesn't even have time to react; her skin can't harden in time! Elisa thought to herself. he continued to slice her up over and over again until her arms fell from her nape.
