"talk to me, Reiner." Bertholdt said while moving closer to Reiner. "what are you right now?" he was just checking up on his comrade/friend after that split personality episode he had just now.
"a warrior. calm down." Reiner said, reassuringly. Elisa was observing the entire thing.
Bertholdt spoke up again. "do you really think it's wise for us to trust Ymir?" then, he looked back at Ymir. "even though she's the one who devoured Marcel?" Elisa furrowed her eyebrow in confusion.
Reiner looked at Ymir as well. "sure." he answered. "don't you see? we have a handle on her motives. when she turned human again, odds are she just wandered around aimlessly only giving a damn about herself."
then, he turns his head to Bertholdt. "but then Krista came into the picture. that's the kind of girl that can change your whole world. we need her, and not just because she's cute. the people she comes from are an important family within the church. much like Elisa, who's important in her bloodline as well." Elisa gasped and looked at Reiner fully.
"plus, suppose Eren's not the coordinate? our job wouldn't be over." Reiner clarified. "if it comes to that, primarily having Krista around will make the search a lot easier."
then, Bertholdt got a look at the green flares in the sky. he looked uneasy at the sight of it. "they're close..." he pointed out.
Eren was observing as well. what are they talking about? Eren thought to himself. they still plan on clearing out before sundown, or not? Eren and Elisa are confused as all hell.
and what's with this, Elisa being important stuff? he looked at Elisa. she didn't notice because she was looking at the two murderers that killed her father. then, she turned away to look at Eren, who was staring at her.
"please, let's just be done." Bertholdt said. "the next time we come, we'll take all four. Elisa, Annie, Krista, and that. it'll be clean and simple." Elisa widened her eyes at what she just heard. "then we won't have to come here anymore." Elisa wouldn't approve.
Reiner, however, was quick to agree. "right. and we'll have completed our damn mission." Reiner said. "just do me a favor, huh?" he said while walking up to Bertholdt and putting one of his hands on Bertholdt's shoulder. "once we're home, try telling Elisa how you really feel. and if worse comes to worst, there's always Annie."
Eren and Elisa gasp and she slowly starts looking at Bertholdt while he was blushing out of embarrassment. "what's that supposed to mean?!" he asked, kinda freaking out.
Reiner wasn't having it. "ahh, come on." he said dismissively. "i've seen the way you stare at Annie. not to mention, you going on and on about Elisa."
Elisa furrowed her eyebrows in anger. "i don't stare! and was i really talking about Elisa too much?" Elisa looks away with her eyebrows furrowed still. Eren looks at how angry she is.
