chapter iv.
trustEvelyn left the Bachmann residence in November of 835. four short months after Elisa was born. it was really difficult. she had to serve for the King by doing her Bachmann duties. she had to hunt, and it was extremely hard when Wall Maria fell.
whenever she was far away from Wall Maria when she left, Krolva District in Wall Rose was her new residence. after everything was settled in for Kian at his residence in the far north eastern side of the Shiganshina District, she broke down into tears while hugging Kian. "i'm sorry, Kian...!" she whimpered out. "i'm so sorry...!"
Kian was wide eyed, not knowing what to feel. he was four years old. can you blame him? he also didn't know if he was going to see his baby sister again. "i promise, i'll see you as much as possible..." she sobbed out.
she never had any regrets in her upbringing. until she made one mistake. leaving her son and daughter behind and left Elisa and Christof without saying goodbye.
the reason for this, was when she was out and about, she got apprehended by the Military Police, recognizing her as a member of the Bachmann Clan, and was threatened with her life when they found out she had been lacking in services.
she had children to take care of, but she had no other choice. while everyone was asleep, she woke Kian up and told him to pack up with the help of Evelyn of course because Kian was only four years old.
everything was difficult for her. she even went as far as thinking she wasn't a good mother for leaving her children behind like that. Evelyn was a loyal member of the Bachmann Clan at the time, and they put her first in her the most. that's why she was the only one threatened when she was lacking because she had kids to take care of. this wasn't going to be easy.

840:
she visited Wall Maria one day. Evelyn was looking around so that she can get something to eat for Lorenz and Kian. "look, how much are we talking here?" she said in her casual voice.
"talkin' 1,000 coins here. either you have that much, or go home." the merchant said.
Evelyn furrowed her eyebrows. "you lookin' to haggle? because i don't have that much. and i'm not in a good headspace today." she warned.
the merchant chuckled. "alright, fine." he said. "haven't seen a haggler in years." then, he inhaled deeply and said, "900 coins."
Evelyn furrowed her eyebrows deeper and smiles. "800" she said.
"700 says you sweep the horse shit that was left out in front of my shop."
