JINLIA giving canon materials is <3
It was way past midnight.
"Ryujinah!" The loud and sobbing voice of Lia echoed out in the space of the room. There was a soft click as Ryujin turned off the TV.
It was their idea to watch a movie. They've been given an assignment to write a love song. So they thought watching a musical would inspire them to come up with the lyrics. So they watched Mamma Mia 2; Bad decision.
"I don't get it. Why did they kill off Meryl Streep's character? Yeah She's there but as a spirit?" Lia was still weeping.
Ryujin didn't do any better. "I know right? Just to advance the plot?" Ryujin says in between sobs. "Couldn't they think of other reasons to motivate Sophie rebuilding the hotel?"
It took them a couple more minutes of crying before they got to compose themselves.

"Well that didn't work. I was so sure that was going to help us with the lyrics." Lia brings a hand up to her face and rests it on her forehead before letting out a deep sigh.
After putting back the dvd, Ryujin also lets out a heavy sigh as she slumps on the floor against the bed beside Lia. "We can't give up, we have to submit this on Monday. Let's think of something else."
Then, as if a switch had flipped, Lia looks up excitedly at Ryujin.
"Why don't we try imagining ourselves dating?"
Ryujin whips her head in Lia's direction with a scandalized look "You mean.. like us, together?"
"Yeah!" Lia wiggles her eyebrows. "I mean..I thought about the members of the other boy groups, but it didn't sit well with me. So I thought about you. Why would I look for others when there's someone so cute yet so cool right beside me."
"I don't think that logic is very sound Lia..."
"Come on..a lot of songwriters definitely made a love song based on some imaginary relationship on their head." Lia replies with her classic eye smile which soon faded as her face turned serious and she closes her eyes for a second.
"I just have one wish.."
Ryujin looks at her with curiosity. "What is it?"
"Can you say..Jisu, I love you?..You know, to give me some inspiration."
Ryujin was blushing with intensity while Lia just smiles serenely in her direction.

After taking a deep breath. Ryujin placed a hand on her friend's shoulder and gave her a stare full of sincerity.
"J-Jisu ya!..Jisu-ya..Choi Jisu ya, I love you!" She'll think this if for the assignment so I'll just go ahead and say it.
"We've been spending a lot of time together, somewhere along the way..I fell for you. I'd look at your face and see the way your eyes turns to little crescents every time you smile. I'd notice every little shift of your expression, and I realized it was the point of no return. It would be my biggest regret if I let the fact that we're both girls stop me from being with you..."
They both stared for a moment, and if they'd listen closely, they could hear each other's heart pounding wildly.
"So," Ryujin clears her throat, "How was that for inspiration? Did I make your heart race?" Ryujin was dying on the inside but still gave a smile.
