Ryujin, an aspiring photographer enters her first year of high school, but because of helping an old lady cross the street, while on her way to school, she arrives late for her entrance ceremony.

Not knowing how to get to the auditorium,
she discreetly went behind the main building to hide, and wait for the orientation to be over.

As she makes her way on the corner, she's greeted by a beautiful woman standing under the cherry blossom tree.

Mesmerized by the scene, she pulls out a camera from her bag to take a picture.

As she clicked, the girl turned around with tears in her eyes.

They stare for a moment.

A gust of wind blew right between them, as if the breeze carried away the awkwardness.

Looking up at the sky after shedding a tear, the girl then turned to Ryujin and smiled.

Not knowing what the words should be the first to be said.

So they remained silent.

Until the girl laughed.

"You're late." The says cheekily.

"Well, I'm sorry, but I did my best and ran as fast as I could." Ryujin answered

"And did you just take a picture of me, without my permission.." The girl started walking towards her.

"uhm yeah well.."
Like a deer caught in headlights, Ryujin couldn't form a sentence.

"So, you're late on your first day of school, and you sort of breached someone's privacy, that's two offense." The girl mischievously counted.

Great it was supposed to be the first day of her exciting high school life and she's already in trouble.

"Look I'll delete the picture, just don't tell anyone about this, please, I'll do anything." The poor freshman was practically begging.

"Alright"

Ryujin’s eyes lit up

"But, you have to do me a favor.."

"S-Sure, what is it?"

"Join the astronomy club."

"W-What? Why?"
School clubs has never really been an interest for Ryujin, she'd rather go home than spend extra hours at school doing extra curriculars, but due to unfortunate events her peaceful days has come to an end.

"All the other members graduated, and I'm the only one left..so you have to help me save this club from disbandment."
The girl looked away.

But Ryujin saw her side profile as she sadly looked down.

Oh

Was that why she was crying earlier.

For some reason Ryujin was always compelled to help others, even at her own expense. Making other people smile was enough for her. Even if this situation feels like blackmail.

Even though they just met by chance, in a  place both of them took refuge in. It felt like it was the beginning of an inevitable.

"Alright, I'll join... I'm Ryujin by the way, you should atleast know the name of your only club member." She offered a handshake

The girl was surprised by Ryujin's cooperation, and was on the verge of crying again but shook her head.

"I'm Lia, your club president." She accepted Ryujin's hand and gave her the brightest smile she could offer.
