Chapter 43

"Momma!"

Niyakap niya ang anak na masayanag sumalubong sa kanya nang umuwi siya sa mansion ng magulang.

Nakangiti naman niyang niyakap ito ng mahigpit.

"Where have you been, Momma?" Malambing na tanong ng anak niya.

"I've been with your Mama Clea, anak." Sagot niya at hinalikan sa ulo ang anak.

Ngumuso naman ito sa sagot niya. Nagtaka siya doon.

"You're lying, Momma? Leo is here, Tito Hellion said that he had to go somewhere with Mama Clea."

Hindi niya alam kung alin ang uunahin, ang magulat ba dahil magkasama sila Clea at Hellion? Ito ba iyong isang bulto kagabi na kasama ni Hendrix? Hindi naman impossible. O makokonsensya sa pagsisinungaling sa anak.

"Momma is really with Mama Clea last night but we separate ways." Sagot na lamang niya sa anak.

Really? Separate ways or someone kidnapped them?

"Where were you last night then?" Tanong ng anak.

Mahilig talagang matanong ang anak dahil marami itong gustong malaman na bagay-bagay na hindi pa naman nito nararanasan dahil palagi lang itong nasa bahay. Nakatago.

She felt sad on that. Kaya kahit man lang bilang pambawi ay magsasabi siya ng totoo sa anak.

"I've been with your father, anak." Sagot niya sa anak.

Nakita niya ang pagkislap ng mga mata nito. Even Drix Loe didn't tell or ask a thing about his father, she knew that he's looking for his Dad. And she was just so selfish not to introduce him to Hendrix.

"Really?" Mahinang tanong nito na pilit na tinatago ang pagkasabik at tuwa sa boses.

"Yes, uhm...do you wanna m-meet him?"

She gulped upon waiting for her son's reaction. Ganoon pa rin nag mga mata nito, kumikislap sa tuwa.

"Can I, Momma?"

Ngumiti siya rito at kusang nahulog ang luha galing sa kanyang mata. She can't hekp but to tear up upon hearing excitement on her son's voice.

"Of course, love."

Binaba na muna niya ang anak at kinuha ang cellphone na nasa purse niya. She took a deep breath and click on the app his son is curious about.

Instagram.

"Momma's gonna take picture of us then I'll post in on IG, okay?" Nakangiting tanong niya rito.

"IG, Momma? IG?!" His son can't hide his excitement upon hearing that app.

Ano bang meron sa IG, Loe, ha. Bakit ba ganyan ka ka-excited? Hindi naman niya pinaglihi ito sa Instagram. Baka namana sa ama.

Itinaas niya sa ere kamay kung saan hawak niya cellphone habang nakatutok ang front cam sa kanila.

"Smile, anak."

HENDRIX can't help but to smile when he can still smell Chloe's scent on his condo. The place that witness their story from the beginning until the end---no not the end but just when they separated.

Chloe left earlier this morning after he feed her breakfast, but he will follow her to her mansion so that he could continue courting her.

He went to his car and drive his way to Chloe's parent's house, with a bouquet, chocolates and a jewelry. It's still not enough tho, maybe he could give her another gift later this afternoon.
