~Part three~

Summary
Armin has a chat with the school's troublemaker

After a few seconds he finally decided to go. One wrong turn with his hands and the books were down the floor. The noise was loud enough to scary him and he picked them up slowly one by one. He only stopped when he felt a pair of eyes looking at him from the back of the room.

He stared back to meet them and flinched. "Uh, sorry. I didn't mean to.. Wake you up. " Armin stood awkwardly.

The boy just stretched his arms in the air, by the look in his eyes Armin noticed he was still sleepy, maybe that was the reason why he didn't get a rude answer.

"What are you even doing here?" The strange boy yawned and looked at him from up to down.

The blonde placed the books this time on a safer place and continued calmly. "I could ask you the same question. " he tried not to look at him but it was impossible.

Eren only laughed quietly. "You've never been here, have you? No wonder, a good boy like you... You a boy, right?" He asked with the same playful smile Armin saw in the cafeteria earlier.

He rolled his eyes in annoyance, but still had a smile on his face. "Funny. It's not like you look any different." He looked at his fluffy long hair, now tied on a bun.

"Hey." Eren pointed at his hair carelessly "This here is a male hairstyle and it looks cool. You look more like a coconut to me."

The shorter narrowed his eyes at him. "Oh yeah? At least I don't waste my afternoon sleeping in an empty room in school."

Eren puffed. "Trust me dude, I wouldn't stay here if I had a choice. It's the detention." He shrugged.

Then a thought came to Armin, has he ever been in detention? He didn't have a reason to be, Eren was right, he indeed was a serious and good student and a person in general.

"Actually." Eren continued "It's not that bad here as well. I get to sleep without anyone waking me up to ask me if this dress looks stunning or that perfume smells good enough. Seriously, why do girls think that's what boys want?"

"Who told you girls dress up only to impress you?" Armin laughed dryly.

"Just look around! Any girl in this school would date me. I suspect even..." he leaned closer and whispered as if someone in the empty room was going to hear him "Some boys would too. Who else can brag with this? For sure not you."

Armin crossed his arms and looked him dead in the eye. "I'm fine with what I have now. I don't want your life. " He didn't like how he spoke about his admirers, after all they were people too.

Eren put his hands behind his head and replied to his glare. For a few seconds everything fell silent.

"You've got the courage." He smirked and Armin flinched a little. "I like that. You might be not that bad as you look like." He said with a calm voice.
