[No more gifs as they really make everything buggy and I've been having troubles editing the chapters :(]~Chapter 2 of part 2~
Summary
The person Annie met 7 months ago turned out to be a pretty nice girl"I hate this." The blonde hissed through her teeth while taking all the students book she had left in her locker. Today Annie forgot to take her backpack with her.
It was enough to make it look like a nightmare, but still the many books decided to fall from her hands on the floor in the middle of the hallway. She was about to say something, but decided to stay quiet. Instead she crouched down to try again.
While collecting them slowly, another hand appeared, taking one of them. Annie looked up in confusion.
"Ooh, look what I found!" An energetic voice came from a person standing in front of Annie's eyes. She didn't answer.
She read the title. "Except it's... Maths? Ugh, you can keep it." The girl smiled at Annie but proceeded to take more of them. "I'll still help you fix this mess though."
Annie only stared at her, not knowing what to say. She's never before seen this person but she acted so familiar with her that she made her doubt herself. From first glance the girl had light brown hair, slightly curled and light green eyes. It was a really beautiful combination. After a few seconds of silence she also looked at her in question.
Annie anxiously looked down, hoping it wasn't too obvious. No matter her usual scary look, she was actually pretty shy when it came to new people, but she always tried to hide it. "Sorry but... Do I know you?" There wasn't any reason to be apologizing, she wondered why she said it.
The girl shook her head. "No, I don't think so. You don't look like you do it that way."
Annie looked up to her. "What?"
"Nothing, forget it." The girl made a gesture with her hand, deciding to clarify it. "I transfered a few days ago, I haven't really met anybody yet. Well, until now." She chuckled, offering her hand. Annie wondered what had possibly made her so happy. "I'm Hitch Dreyse, seventeen."
She doubtfuly took her hand to shake it. "Annie, eighteen." She muttered and smiled awkwardly, making the other girl grin even wider. She then realized they were still standing in the same position, she got up slowly feeling her legs being already sore.
Hitch stood up next, not looking away. "Your name means grace, doesn't it? It's beautiful." She admitted.
"I've never really thought of the meaning." Annie shrugged carelessly. "I don't care what it means. It wasn't given to me by someone special."
She wasn't sure why she was saying that to a complete stranger. Most of the times she wasn't comfortable with sharing anything about her childhood, even thinking about it, even though it didn't bring her pain or another bad feeling. For some reason, it was whatever.
Her first years she remembered being stuck in a small orphanage, since the day she learned how to eat, talk and walk by herself until the day her father adopted her, at the age of twelve. Unlike most kids, she never wondered how her real parents might look like, why would it matter, if they obviously didn't care for her enough and dumped her the first day of her life, why should she care too?
