~Part fifteen~

Summary
Armin has to go urgently to the infirmary

Everyone was looking at the pale tall girl. She gracefully removed the hair that was standing in front of her face and looked at the boy.

"Please. Come with me."

---

He felt awkward. Not only because they weren't close, but because the last time they did see each other it wasn't pleaful. She didn't seem to be the type to start drama so maybe that wasn't the reason she wanted to talk.

While walking along with her, he realized that after the day he met Eren his life began to be a lot more interesting. He wasn't used to talking with many people out of his small friend group and he definitely didn't feel special enough to have such beautiful girl wanting to talk to him in private. He hated to admit it but Eren had something to do with all of this.

Thе walk was making him feel really uncomfortable, mostly because of the silence. They were passing by one of the hallways, he didn't dare to ask her where they were going, but definitely didn't expect it to be the infirmary.

"What are we doing here?" He asked quietly and entered the room after her. She turned to look at him for the first time in awhile.

She wasn't going to hurt him, right? It could be easy for her to make it look like an accident and just leave him here, but outside the door there were people. If he screamed loud enough.. He shook these dumb thoughts away and waited for her to speak, something a normal person would do because she definitely wasn't planning on killing him.

Although she wasn't in a hurry at all. She slowly parted her lips after what Armin felt like a long time. "Now I know you're not a girl. I'm sorry for believing in a lie."

The blonde stared at her in surprise, then chuckled in a relief and made a gesture with his wrist. "Oh, is that it? It's not a problem, I wouldn't blame you."

She didn't seem yet relieved and looked at him with guilt and embarrassment. "Yeah, but it was still rude of me. It's not even that hard to tell. I don't know why I believed my b.." she suddenly got quiet.

"Eren?" he finished the sentence. " It's fine, he can be.. Difficult." Also burdensome and annoying, but he chose do pick his words carefully. He wanted to ask her about him but there wasn't a point anymore.

She nodded and furrowed her eyebrows, thinking a little before speaking, but then she continued unsure. "Are you two.. Close?"

Even if there was a moment they were close, it definitely didn't feel like they were right now. Or maybe they never were in the first place and Eren only wanted it to look like it. He frowned and shook his head. "I wouldn't call us close."

She didn't answer. Suddenly a thought stroke him.

"Did he ask you to talk to me?" He looked at her now more serious and clenched his fists, feeling the anger climbing up him.
