Summary Armin meets someone important to Eren and Eren wants them to think they're dating
"Eren, are you prepared for the upcoming science test?" The slender girl walked behind the tall boy like a guardian.
It wasn't something unusual for Mikasa to follow Eren around the school, not only because they shared most of their classes or because they were close, for Mikasa it was necessary to be there for him. This might or might not have something to do with the past they shared. For Eren, it was a little annoying, but luckily she didn't talk much.
He groaned at her question. "Who cares? I'm not gonna become a scientist or some shit"
Her eyes didn't move away from him and she continued insistently. "Either way you need to pass, I can help you if it troubles y-"
"Damnit Mikasa, I already have a mother if you've forgotten." He hissed at her the quietest he could and clenched his fists. Mikasa was good at most of the subjects and the boy knew but either way he didn't want any help.
She felt the regret swallowing her whole with these words and she slowly lowered her head, mumbling guiltily. "I'm... Sorry"
Even though she just wanted to help she somehow made the whole situation worse.

It was Friday morning before classes. Surprisingly for Armin the hallways were quieter than normal, maybe because it was the last day of the school week and the students weren't fully awake. Good thing because he wasn't a morning person and noise was the last thing he wanted, but according to his plan for this morning his wish unfortunately couldn't come true.
He took another big sip of the coffee he was holding. Not like it worked, he still felt like even the cold hard ground would be comfortable enough if he lied down to sleep. He looked at the sky above him before entering the large school gates. Today was going to rain. He should have brought an umbrella.
"I hate mornings" he muttered.

"Are you looking for someone?" Mikasa lifted her eyebrow at Eren who was impatiently looking around obviously trying to find something.
Eren didn't seem to be feeling any guilt but still couldn't manage to tell her he'd found someone else to teach him after she offered him her help not once. But he didn't do it for the work itself.
Then why? Well..
Someone tapped on his shoulder. He noticed the girl who was still expecting an answer starring at someone behind him in confusion, he turned around to meet the two large blue eyes of a quiet short and small human who needed to stay on his toes to reach his shoulder. "Huh?" He himself was confused on why the shorty didn't just call his name.
