Summary The day is finally here, but a lot different than Armin expected it to be.
"Hey you!
Would you like to test your abilities and diverse your boring routine?
Well then we've got something for you!
It's finally 1st of November! You know what it means, right? The day that our precious Sina High School was founded! That day people can come to watch our lovely classmates participate in something that you wouldn't find anywhere else!
Everyone is free to join in whatever round they want - first is football, whoever team wins goes to the second round - basketball. Students that win the second round can also join the third and last - a running competition! As you see it's not necessary to start from the first round, it's all for the fun!
And if you're not a fan of sports, you can just watch! There are food stalls if you get hungry, so don't worry about staying too long.
Everyone is excited about today, and so am I! The best part is that today, the whole day is free! The school is closed!"
Sasha placed her palms on her cheeks and smiled brightly. She was more excited than anyone else. More or less it was about the food and the free day but it didn't matter.
"Whatcha say??"
Niccolo sighed and tried not to frown, but smile. "Sasha, I already know that. We're going to see it together, don't you remember?"
She put her finger to her lips. "Oh, right!"
He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Besides, if you came here for the food I could've made you something better, you know? Why are we here?"
They walked on the hallway, 20 minutes before the competition began. Surprisingly, it was crowded even inside the school. Right now they were looking for the rest of the group.
"Hey, don't be like that, it's not the only reason." She punched his hand a little too hard. "I want to see how my friend beats everyone's ass too! He's been training really hard for this."
He snickered, trying to make his way through the people. "Whatever you want, then. I'm just glad we'll have some more time for ourselves." He put his hand gently on her waist and she looked back at him. "I missed you, you know?" He leaned towards her.
"What about me?" He felt a hand being placed on his waist and another one on his shoulder. He flinched back and looked angrily at Connie who grinned back at him. "You missed me too, lobster boy?"
"Connie!" Sasha smiled and waved at him. "Where were you? We were looking for you." More precisely, only Sasha did. Niccolo decided to stay quiet.
He crossed his arms. "I can't find anyone here. Jean is nowhere to be seen."
