~Chapter 21 of part 2~

His head had started to itch from the thought of what his sister would do to him when she realized what he had done. Or more precisely, what he didn't do. Well, bearable, as he had really started to miss Historia. Arranging the luggage in the truck of the car, Armin knew that it hadn't really changed in size since the arrival, and none of them had thought of buying souvenirs or anything that wasn't.. Well, food.

Knowing back home no one really expected any gifts, and yet he still felt his sides coloring from embarrassment, but how could he forget? Okay, not for them, not even for himself, and that as stated earlier was something his sister wasn't going to be happy about. Because as she was always saying, "It's like a keepsake, a memory you'll forever remember and otherwise regret not getting." Though, he was sure he would remember some things.

Staring at the bags with the most concatenated look he could give, he felt his cheeks again getting warmer, for one or another reason. For the first time since the morning, he had given himself the permissible to properly comprehend what the hell had happened last night. And God, it was so vividly he felt himself transfer back there and then. Was it already stated his face was a complete red mess?

Armin closed the door of the trunk carefully, trying his best to act all natural when he turned around to try to for real pay attention to his friends now. Some time had passed since they had came back from their last beach day, and considering he had passed most of the time by himself, it still wasn't so bad. Sometimes it felt better to not be surrounded by so many people, one was enough. Well, by himself this time, but at least he had found the thing he was looking for. The area of his chest had tightened, like his throat.

He stared ahead at the наредени figures leaning on the fence in front of the guest house they were standing at, didn't feel the need to approach. Why was it so though, he didn't know. Maybe the whole trip had finally drained his social battery that, by surprise, had lasted for a pretty long time. He couldn't lie, home was something he was looking forward to returning to.

This town was.. Pretty. Beautiful. Something he would keep in his memories for a long time. And he longed that someday he was going to come back. But for now.. With the back of his eye he spotted another figure after hearing the sound of keys locking a door. Like a confirmation of the end of an action or an event.

Armin, still standing behind the car, followed him with his eyes as the boy passed through the path to the first front door of the garden, for the last time as Armin had already done, closing it after him. He seemed in a hurry, but what was he in a hurry for?

The figure spoke. "Okay, is everyone ready? I suppose so, as I checked everything for the last time and I'm pretty sure everything is collected and we should be fine. Is there some place assigned or should we go home separately?"

Looking as with somebody else's eyes, he saw the ground around him moving, sights getting bigger and closer, before realising he was walking. Stopping right next to Eren, he felt an arm embracing his shoulder.
