Elvin's POV:

"Hello!~" I shouted while cupping my hands together.

Right now, I'm in the middle of the forest, and I'm currently lost.

"I hope Ariel doesn't get worried and start looking for me, it would be bad if both of us get lost." I muttered to myself as I continued to wander through the densely packed trees.

"Maybe it would be better if I just demolished this whole forest? (It's full of dangerous monsters anyway, so getting rid of it would probably be for the better)" I said as I prepared my holy sword and readied my stance.

"How dare you attack mother nature like that!" A voice cried out as a something whizzed past my ear.

Wait where have I heard something like this before, I wonder?

Anyway, for now I need to correct the misunderstanding.

"Wait, you're mistaken! I was just about to, um, practice my swordsmanship, yeah that's it!" I shouted without much thought.

"Liar! The trees have told me the atrocities of what you've done! You've casually killed hundreds of them without any remorse! You filthy human!" The voice responded in an even more furious tone.

"I...I...You are right, and I'm sorry! I didn't think about that! Please, forgive me!" I shouted back.

Wait, I've definitely done this before, haven't I?

"As if I'd believe you just like that!" She shouted before another object came flying at me.

This time, I could see it clearly, it was an arrow.

Archer? There shouldn't be any human or demons around here, so then, who else have archers?

"Elf race?" I said without thinking.

Suddenly, the hostility increased several folds as a dozen arrows flew from many directions trying to hit me.

I dodged all of them casually and fired off a burst of wind magic.

Then, I used the wind to give me a burst of moment towards the source of the arrows.

"Got you!" I said as I swung my sword towards the shadowy figure hiding among the trees.

The figure barely managed to dodge and continued to fire off tons of arrows wrapped in wind.

I managed to avoid them and closed the distance quickly, then when I was close to them a surprising sight revealed itself to me.

A beautiful elf woman with short pointy ears and long white hair.

"Half-Elf?" I muttered unconsciously again.

The woman drew her last arrow but instead of using a bow for it she quickly ran towards me.

I dodged to the side as the woman was unable to stop her momentum and fell to the ground.

Seeing the clumsy woman fall flat on her face, I couldn't help but sigh.

She reminded me of an old friend I in my previous world.

I have no idea what she's doing now, but I'm sure she's enjoying herself.

Back to the woman had at hand though, I decided to wait for her to wake up and try to explain to her that I'm sorry.

However, before I could say anything, she ran away with a red face and I didn't see her again for the rest of the day.

"Somehow, I have a feeling I'll be seeing her again." I muttered.

Also, on the way back I found out that Ariel got worried and went out to look for me, and she got lost.

It took a whole day to find her and bring her back.

Then we got lost again together and it took a whole other day to get back.

This forest is really too much of a maze.
