Elvin's POV:
"Huh!?" I shouted as I couldn't believe what this lazy dragon had just said.
"Didn't you hear me? I said: 'I'm surprised you haven't taken advantage of any of us, yet'" Rozalia spoke in seriousness.
"Well, I mean, I'm the former hero, one of the qualities a hero needs is to be a righteous figure, right?" I replied trying to come up with some reasonable reason to her unreasonable question.
"Really? Don't all men do that, though?" She asked innocently.
"No! We don't! I don't know about male dragons, but humans are certainly more or less disgusted with that kind of behavior. Not saying there are no males like that, but they are treated as the scum of society." I tried my best to explain how humans think and work.
"Ehhh? Isn't that just betraying your natural instincts though? How stupid." Is what she said.
"That's not exactly true, but I have lost my energy to argue with you." I responded.
"Now I'm disappointed, I was actually looking forward to you taking advantage of me. Sigh, oh well." Rozalia muttered.
Wait, this lazy dragon wanted me to do that? Seriously? Is she a perverted dragon or something?
I mean, if she wants it- No! Stop! You're the hero, be righteous! But, I'm retired, do I still need to do that anymore? But, what would Ariel and Sylvia think!
Yeah, I can't do it, but those two will have a lesser opinion of me! Let's go with that!
Evil temptations begone!
After finally overcoming my struggle, I went about the rest of the day as normal.
Then, a week after that, Sylvia came up to me.
"Um, Elvin, I, uh, I wanted to ask you something." Sylvia said, meekly.
"Um, yes? What can I help you with?" I replied.
"Rozalia told me you didn't want to 'take advantage' of her, even when she offered, so we were wondering, if you were, you know, down there. Does it work still?" She asked.
"Uh, what?" Was the best I could respond with.
What is with these girls all of a sudden? They haven't said a word about things like this until recently?
I wonder if there's something wrong with them this time of the month?
Ah, that reminds me, I think they might be going through their- Ow!
"I don't know what you're thinking, but I don't like it." Sylvia pounded me on the head all of a sudden.
"Sorry, but also, no nothing is wrong with my- Um, I mean nothing is wrong down there. I just thought that I wouldn't want to do something like that half-heartedly, you know? I would at least like to get married before I do anything with another person, don't you think?" I replied with a rather hasty answer.
"I see. Well, I wouldn't have minded it as much, if it was you." She whispered before walking off.
A few minutes later I could practically hear her girlish screams with a mix of both laughter and embarrassment.
The next day.
"I seriously don't understand what is going on anymore." I muttered.
I sat down in the kitchen while wondering what to do about this sudden headache.
"Here, some of this will do nicely, don't you think?" Ariel said as she set a cup of tea on the table and sat next to me.
"Thanks, hey, have you noticed the others acting strangely?" I asked.
"Hm, not that I know of? Why, did they say anything strange?" She replied.
"Yeah, they uh, did." I answered.
"Really? What did they ask you?" She asked.
"Uh, well you see, here's how it went down." I replied, sweat dripping down my forehead.
"I see. Thank you for informing me of this matter." Ariel said as she quickly stormed off with a frightening expression on her face.
After that, I could hear the cries of a dragon and a half-elf girl coming from upstairs.
I decided to slowly drink my tea and then go to bed.
