Elvin's POV:
"How did things come to this?" I thought as Rozalia angrily growled at me.
Let's retrace all the steps that lead to this moment, shall we?
After my date with Sylvia, we came home on a positive note.
But, maybe it was a bit too positive between us.
Rozalia started getting suspicious.
"Uh, what were you two doing out?" She asked, curious.
"Uh, shopping?" I replied.
"Then where's the groceries?" She asked, suspiciously.
"We, um, weren't grocery shopping, I asked him to join me to get some new clothes, which I'm wearing right now." Sylvia hastily replied.
Starrrre.
Rozalia continued to stare menacingly between the two of us as we continued to freeze in place.
We were saved when we heard a strange sound coming from inside the house.
"Ariel!?" Sylvia and I shouted while pushing our way past Rozalia who was attempting to say something before we ran past.
"Hey, don't go in there now- Oh, whatever."
As I ran up the stairs towards the sound of Ariel's moaning and sounds of...vomiting?
Is she perhaps sick?
I rushed into the bathroom to check up on her, and she was there puking in the toilet.
"Are you alright?" I asked worriedly.
"I'm fine. It's just- Blurrgh!" She answered before puking again.
"What's wrong? Are you sick? Do you need to lay down?" I asked.
"I'll be ok. You can go down and talk with Sylvia for a while." She replied trying her best to force a smile.
I frowned, she was keeping something from me, but I didn't know what it was.
Not wanting to push it further, I went down the stairs into the kitchen to talk with Sylvia for the rest of the morning.
I told Sylvia what happened to Ariel and she frowned seemingly about to say something, before keeping her mouth shut.
I suppose she figured out what was wrong with Ariel but since she doesn't want to tell me yet then I can only wait.
The rest of the morning Rozalia began spying on us, but she was detected right away.
I guess she doesn't have any stealth skills.
"So, Sylvia, do you want to talk in private for a bit?" I asked.
"Yes, would my room suffice?" She answered.
"Yep, let's go." I responded.
Rozalia's POV:
Something is up with Sylvia and Elvin, but I don't quite know what.
I can tell they did something together all night before, but passed it off as going shopping.
Sure, Elvin has an inventory, but he rarely uses it unless he needs to.
I tried to peep in on them several times, but no attempt yet has succeeded.
Still, I'll get to the bottom of this eventually!
However, before I could even solve the mystery, they revealed it right away!
"I talked it over with both Ariel and Sylvia, and decided to marry Sylvia as well." Elvin said while he, Sylvia, and a dazed Ariel sat next to each other.
Wait a second, why does it feel like I missed something?
"Hold on a minute, isn't this too sudden? And besides..." I said.
"It might be a little sudden, but well, I'm only human you know? My lifespan is a lot shorter compared to you all so I'd like to get things like this off my chest before I die. And besides, Sylvia and I both have feelings for each other and Ariel is fine with it, right?" He asked making sure once again.
"I can't exactly expect to keep you for myself, can I? Especially when you're living with three beautiful women. With that being said, Rozalia, don't you have something to say?" Ariel responded.
Wha-! Why bring me up all of a sudden!?
I saw Ariel giving a weak smile before heading upstairs again.
Elvin looked at me curiously.
"What did she mean by that?" He asked.
I looked to his side and saw Sylvia rolling her eyes.
I see, he hasn't noticed it yet, has he?
Should I tell him, then?
I'm a proud dragon, but...
I don't know if I can do this.
Oh, screw it!
"Elvin!" I shouted.
"Yes?" He answered back in surprise.
"I love you." I said.
"Huh?" He replied, shocked.
I gave him an expectant look.
After a minute of his brain comprehending my words, his face showed a look of understanding.
Ariel's words might've come back to him.
"I see, then..." He said, trying to find the right words.
Does this mean he doesn't love me back?
I was on the verge of tears before he saw my face and shouted hastily.
"Don't misunderstand! I love you too! But, I just announced taking Sylvia as my wife and I just want our relationship to not be rushed so much. With Ariel it was only a matter of when not if, and Sylvia happened over the course of a few months, while I've only realized my feelings for you right now. But, I promise in the near future I'll make you happy, ok?"
He had a genuine smile which made my heart relax when I saw it.
Dragon's are greedy and selfish by nature, so I was aware that I would never be able to have him all to myself, but I also treasure Ariel and Sylvia as my own family so I'm fine with sharing with them.
"Uh, Rozalia? Why are you looking at me like that? It's making me feel a little uncomfortable." He said.
"After Sylvia." I said.
"What?" He asked, confused.
"After Sylvia has had one, then we can get married, alright?" I answered.
"Had one what?" He asked.
I smiled towards Sylvia.
She gave a knowing nod back.
Then she dragged Elvin into her room.
She wasn't the only one who knew what was going on with Ariel.
I'm just hoping she says something soon, cause one of us is going to slip up eventually.
With that, I became tired and decided to go for a nap, maybe tomorrow I can ask Elvin to take me on a date?
Hehehe, I'm getting excited just thinking about it.
