Rozalia's POV:
How boring. Everyday is always so boring.
I want some excitement.
Something new and entertaining.
Like when I faced off against that young hero, what was his name?
Elvin?
He was the most interesting person I've ever met, and I've met many people over my long years.
Soaring through the sky day by day just isn't the same anymore.
Sigh, I wonder what that reckless hero is doing now?
-At the same time-
"Achoo!"
"Elvin, are you okay? You're not catching another cold are you?" Ariel asked.
"No, I think someone might be talking behind my back is all." Elvin replied.
-Back to Rozalia-
Oh, there's a nice mountain over that way, I wonder if I can find one of those secretive eastern dragons?
I know they've long been extinct, but just the thought of being able to meet one gets me all excited.
I've heard so many stories of the dragons from the east, I wonder what kind of culture they used to have?
Maybe it's similar our own western culture?
Do they worship their godly ancestor like we do?
And so many other questions ran through my mind.
Unfortunately, there was nothing at the mountain.
"How disappointing." I breathed a sigh in regret.
Truly, how boring this world has become.
I still remember when my mother used to tell stories of when dragons ruled the western continent, and how our ancestor rose to become a god and live out his immortal life with his human wife and children by his side.
But now, humanity has begun spreading like the plague and other races have cropped up as well.
It just seems like there is nothing to do at all anymore.
Yawn~
I'm getting sleepy, might as well take a nap I guess.
Elvin's POV:
I've had the strangest feeling that something unpleasant was about to happen.
As if another headache was about to simply fall from the sky-
As that thought crossed my mind, a giant shadow rapidly grew in size around me.
Looking up, I discovered it was the body of a giant dragon.
How unusual, dragons like this one only exist on the western continent, wonder what one is doing here?
Speaking of which, I met one a long time ago, strange, it looks almost exactly...like...this one...
Quickly, I jumped into the air using the roof of the house to boost me up farther and quickly used my legs to redirect the dragon's descent a little bit off towards the house.
As I descended from high above, I prayed to the unfortunate trees that were smooshed from the dragon's fall.
Not long after, Ariel and Sylvia came outside after hearing all the commotion and were shocked at the sight they saw.
"Elvin, isn't this?" Ariel asked me worriedly.
"Yep, It's a dragon." I said, confirming her fears.
"A dragon!? What the heck is a dragon doing all the way in the eastern continent!? Did it get lost or something!?" Ariel shouted baffled.
"Nah, she's just got bored one day and decided to explore the world." I replied.
"Wait, Elvin, you know this dragon?" Sylvia responded, quick to pick up on my words.
"Yeah, I met her about 7 years ago now, I had only been the hero for three of my ten years, so I was still pretty weak and not very confident." I answered.
"You, unconfident? It's hard to believe." Ariel said.
"I think it's hard to imagine Elvin not being strong, when you literally use your fists to plough hundreds of trees." Sylvia chimed in.
I could only weakly laugh as they pointed out how much I've changed over the years.
"Anyway, why did this dragon suddenly drop from the sky?" Ariel said, curiously.
"Well, I think she just fell asleep." I responded.
When I met this dragon for the first time, mid-way in the battle, she fell asleep and completely ignored me. My attacks also didn't seem to do much to her as well.
Frustrated, I continued to beat the dragon up until it woke up or until I could at least scratch it.
Thankfully for me, I scratched it before it woke up, but unfortunately for me, the scratch caused it go in a rage that nearly wiped out a town nearby.
I was able to handle the situation somehow and no one got hurt, but It was a serious incident that caused me to realize that my actions had consequences.
Anyway, it would be bad to just stand around and wait for her to wake up, so I suggested we go inside and play a game while we wait.
After about a month had passed, the lazy dragon finally woke up.
