Demon Lord, Mana's POV:

"What the hell is this!?" I shouted as I crumpled the report in my hands.

"Uh, it's the report you asked for about the hero, Elvin?" My servant answered.

"I know that! But why does is say he got married!?" I yelled.

"Well, that's because he did." My servant replied, scared shitless.

I couldn't help but scream foul curses.

"How dare he go against his word! He was supposed to marry me! Gah! I'll teach that miserable wench the price for stealing my husband!" I shouted as I stormed out of my castle.

Elvin's POV:

"Ahh." I moaned in delight as I whiffed the fresh air.

"I can feel it. Today is going to be a good, slow day-" I said before my prediction was immediately thrown out the window.

"ELVIN!!!!" A familiar voice shouted.

Now, just where did I hear that voice before?

I thought long and hard, but couldn't find an answer before it was given to me by the arrival of the figure before me.

"Ah, Mana. Why are you all the way out here for?" I said, nervously.

"Don't act like you don't know! Where is she!?" The demon lord shouted in a fury.

"Who?" I asked, completely clueless.

"That wench that seduced you into marrying her!" She replied.

"Ah. I don't really see why you're so upset with me marrying Ariel?" I said.

"Don't tell me you forgot!" The demon lord yelled.

Just before the conversation could continue, the ladies all came out.

"Who dares to disturb my sleep!" Rozalia shouted haughtily.

Weird, normally when I try to wake her, she seems like she's unfazed by even the slightest of noise, and now she's saying someone actually disturbed her.

Suspicious.

Rozalia began to sweat heavily as I laid my investigative eyes on her.

"Which one of you three wenches seduced my man!?" Mana shouted.

Despite the immense pressure Mana gave off, None of the girls seemed to be affected by it.

"Who are you? To treat my husband as your own object. Know your place, demon." Ariel said with a dignified tone.

She isn't a nobles daughter for nothing, I guess.

"So, you're the whore that made him marry you!" Mana said as she unleashed a fury of purple demonic flames.

Not just me, but everyone defended themselves against the flames with relative ease.

"Hoh. How unusual. To think, the Three Great Races are gathered here." Mana said, finally realizing her surroundings.

Actually, how did she realize Ariel was a Merfolk?

I'll ask her about it afterwards, once she's calmed down.

Mana continued to throw various demon magics at us, but we dealt with them swiftly.

After that, I closed in and finally caught her.

Then I tied her up while she continued to spout curses and a number of other things I'd like to omit. For the children, of course.

"Alright, now that that's taken care of. I believe it's time to clear up a few misunderstandings." I said as I clapped my hands together.

"Yes, dear. Explain what exactly she means by you being her 'husband'?" Ariel said in a very sweet but threatening tone.

"Um, right. Well, about that." I began.

Everyone looked on in anticipation to the answer.

But...

"I have no clue what she's talking about." I replied.

Everyone gave a unsatisfied look.

Except Mana herself, who started yelling again.

"Don't give me that! Last time I saw you, you promised to marry me, didn't you!?"

I thought about it, and then realized something.

"Ah, I didn't, though? What happened when I was leaving was, you asked if I would come visit you again, and I said 'Of course! I love the demon city and especially it's food!' Is what I said. Then you got all starry-eyed and I left soon after." I replied.

"What..." Of course, she was speechless.

I sighed.

Looks like it really was just a big misunderstanding.

But, the looks of the people behind me, are quite frightening, even for me.

"So, what your saying is, dear, is that you lead a fair maiden astray carelessly and now have caused her to not only misunderstand you, but also be heartbroken at the same time?" Ariel said in a strained voice.

Uh oh. I might want to go hide for a while.

I've come to learn that these women are much scarier when their anger is for another woman, than anything else.

Well, time to run-

Ow!

Then, I was willfully dragged back into the house under the pretense of "Re-education."

It was a long time before anyone remembered to free Mana, but once we did, I helped walk her back to her own city and promised to come visit her from time to time.

Then I got another earful from Ariel, before finally going to bed.
