Another Poem

I write a simple poem, they appear as a please,

To unlock a girls heart, they can act like keys.

I look back through my collection, I've written so much,

All from times when my hearts needed a crutch.

As I read them back, I wonder what I was thinking,

They a lies, bullshit, it sounds as if I was drinking.

Half of them go on saying I wouldn't be able to breathe,

Without a certain girl, but it comes from the heart I believe.

I want to read one back and believe what it says,

Think "yes!", I wrote it 'cause that girl had me in a craze!

I wonder if this will be the one, of which I speak,

Another poem, where the words just leak.

If it is then I'll smile, lift my head and to the side,

And think to myself I know I never lied.

'Cause here I am now, with an arm around that girl,

My one and only princess, my precious little pearl.

Our eyes will meet, she'll known my first thought,

Deep in our souls, a matching wavelength we've caught.

As I lean in to kiss her, she stops me still,

With a hand over my mouth, with her own free will.

"I love you" is like a song so sweet,

It echoes and dances around as if on feet.

I don't want to say anything, I keep hearing it over,

I wish this moment to last on a four leaf clover.

Time resumes and we kiss at last,

My thoughts at this time are all so vast.

Upon a messed up bed, we fall into each other,

In twined in each others embrace under the cover.

This moment is perfect, I never want it to end,

Our relationship is something that I'll forever defend.

Lost in a world of dreams, I'm wide awake,

Watching you in a state so peaceful, calm, like a secluded lake.

Now this, this moment is perfect. I never want it to end,

Our relationship, is something I will always, truly, defend.
