(Yooo. I'm literally so bad at updating lately. Sorry about that guys 😳😳😳
Here's another chapter for you all though :) This is unedited lol because I basically just write and publish.
I love you so much and thank you for reading my story ❤️❤️❤️)"Hands off my presents dickheads" Jack shouts, guarding the mound of presents under the makeshift tree that our friend group had put together. It looked sort of cheap, and it was nearly falling over, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but it worked for our dysfunctional group.
Friend group.
It felt oddly nice to say that— I had friends. Even if those friends were weirdos and practically children. Although, I couldn't really judge them for that, could I? Because after all I'm— you know... that.
When I started my college year, I had no clue that I was going to acquire my own group of amazing friends, along with a boyfriend and daddy so quickly. But I guess life works in mysterious ways. Thats something my dad would say— no doubt.
I had expected to be a loner my entire freshman year of college. After all, that was what I was used to. I really only had one or two lingering friends throughout high school, who I really wouldn't consider to be close. It was like they were only friends with me because I was the last option. Because I was just there. I had never had a best friend before either.
And because of my shyness, friends usually found me, I didn't find them. But this year I made a friend all by myself— which I was proud of.
Jack was on his 4th glass of some tequila infused drink, causing him to act like a child— well, more so than usual. He had already spent half the party singing incoherent tunes he claimed were Christmas 'jingles', while jumping on the sofa even though Caleb told him not to, since it wasn't stable enough for that.
Ryan showed him the middle finger with the hand that wasn't holding his 3rd beer, while sticking his tongue out at him, once again attempting to get around Jack towards the largest gift in the pile. "Who says its yours asshole" he grunts in return.
"Cause its the biggest one. Duh?" Jack rolled his eyes, attempting what I can only assume to be what he calls a 'ninja move', before nearly toppling over.
"So?!" Ryan pouted, causing me to giggle a little, covering my mouth with my hand. It went unnoticed by everyone but Damien, who playfully squeezed my thigh, sending me a small grin and an eye roll, mouthing, 'they're children'. I nodded in agreement.
"Biggest dick equals biggest present" Jack puffed out his chest.
Shouldn't Damien get that present then? Stop.
I think hanging out around all of these people has given me a dirty mind now. I used to be so innocent and pure— at least thats what I'd like to think. Now I'm corrupted. *dramatically sighs*
I looked over towards Faith and Caleb who were cuddling on the couch. They had been super lovey doves for the past few days, being a new couple and all. Was that what Damien and I were like? I watched Faith roll her eyes at the other two boy's childish antics— something that wasn't uncommon.
Ryan scoffed at Jacks statement, "the only big dick you have is in your ego"
Yikes. That one's gonna sting.
"Get roasted!" Caleb laughed, whilst everyone else snickered as well. Finn on the other hand was in a full blown hysterical fit, earning him a glare from Jack.
"Excuse you" he childishly grumbled, plopping down on the ground with his legs crossed, pouting slightly.
And I thought I was the most child-like one here.
Apparently its actually drunk jack.
"Jackkkkk" Finn sung, also a little bit tipsy, but not quite as every one else. Excluding me, of course, because Damien was limiting my drinking. In his words, he didn't want to deal with a 'drunk baby'.
"Finnnn" Jack's face morphed into a large grin, while his arms stretched out wide, inviting Finn into them, who happily obliged, cuddling into Jack's embrace. They were in the exact same position Damien and I were in right now.
Finn and Jack had been getting along more and more lately, to my knowledge. They had been spending more time together as well. And if I didn't overhear that Finn already had a boyfriend, who I don't know yet, and If Jack wasn't as straight as a pole then I would have thought that they were together. I think theres a word for that. Oh yeah— bromance.
Major war flashbacks from that word.
"You getting hungry baby?" Damien whispered his question into my ear, slightly startling me, since he had been silent for so long. I nod my head in response, leaning further back into his chest.
Damien had been put on 'ordering the Pizza' duty, because apparently, even though the party was in jack's dorm room, he can't order the pizza because of his social anxiety. That and— he's way to drunk to talk coherently. No one trusts Jack with things as important as Pizza when he's drunk.
I was slightly curious how Jack had managed to snag one of the one person dorm rooms, since theres so few of them, and almost everyone tries to get one. But I didn't question it out loud.
"Words." He pinched my thigh lightly as a warning.
"Yes" I responded, placing a kiss on his cheek, which earned what I hope was a fake gag from Ryan, from where he was across the room— which wasn't that far since we were in a dorm room.
"You two make me feel sick. And single. Stop it" he whined, playfully glaring at me, which I returned with my own glare, which seemed to shock him. "Woah. I think thats the first time I've seen ted look remotely mean. Ok ok I get it" he raises his hands in surrender, "I wont insult you and your boyfriend anymore."
"Did i really look that intimidating?" I giggle
His head bobs frantically. "Yeah. But you should see the look your boyfriend behind you—underneath?—wait. No. Yeah...Yeah— that would be considered behind. You should see the look he was giving me. Scary as hell dude, I'm telling you. Its like you've got your own personal guard dog."
"Nah I don't think they're into pet play. They're not that kinky" Jack supplied absentmindedly before taking a long sip of his drink, which looked refilled.
At his words, Caleb choked on his own drink, sending himself into a large, drawn out, coughing fit. A blush rose to my cheeks, and a laugh rumbled through Damien's chest as I hid my face in it out of embarrassment. His hand moved to my back, rubbing gently underneath the fabric of my pale blue shirt.
"Am I missing something here? Is this some inside joke?" Finn asked, with confusion laced into his tone. His face was scrunched up like he was thinking, and his eyebrows were furrowed, causing a crease to form in between them.
"Nope. No. Nada— nothing at all." Caleb replied smoothly, slowly shaking his head.
"Really cause I feel out of the loop."
"Its nothing really." He insisted, glancing over at damien and i with an expression that read, 'help' .
My cheeks were no doubt flushed to the shade of a tomato, although, I hoped that everyone was too drunk to look further into it. Hopefully they would think it was normal. Which it sort of was since I blushed at almost everything.
"Alright if you say so..." Finn trailed off, giving us one last glance before turning back towards Ryan and Jack who had begun sword fighting with veggie straws.
I was just glad the attention wasn't on us anymore.
