All I'm going to say is: prepare yourselves

Teddy's POV

Finn was the first one to come storming into our apartment, with his duck pajamas on that matched my own— we had intentionally bought then the last time we went shopping so we could match— and a worn out looking blanket tucked under his left arm. He took the seat next to me on the couch that wasn't already occupied by Damien, sending me a small grin before throwing the blanket over our legs, and over one of Damien's legs as well for good measure.

Ryan and Jack were the next ones to arrive. One was carrying 4 boxes of make-it-yourself popcorn, and the other one was holding a pack of beer. Its easy to guess who was carrying which one. They both took a seat on the floor in front of the couch.

Jack purposely sat on top of Damien's feet just to annoy him, which it ended up working, earning him a literal kick in the butt.

Caleb and Faith were the last ones to arrive. They had both brought a bunch of blankets for everyone who needed one, even though most of us didn't, which thankfully ceased Jack and Ryans whining about their legs being to cold. Their complaining had been going on way too long to be normal for full grown adults.

But hey— who was I to judge?

And that all lead up to now, where we were about halfway through the movie, with 2 boxes of popcorn already gone, and Jack and Ryan having finally stopped yelling at each other because their ankles were touching.

And the worst part—

I was in little space. And it was unintentional. I would have tried to stop it if I could, but I didn't even notice that it was happening until it was already at a point of being irreversible. Luckily, no one had noticed yet. But that was probably because I avoided talking, because they would definitely hear the change in my voice.

I tugged on Daddy's black t-shirt, getting him to look at me.

Luckily, he must have seen some change in me, that indicated my little space, because he immediately took my hand and stood up, accidentally spilling popcorn all over Ryan and Jack, causing me to giggle as they cursed at him.

I was getting more and more used to cursing the more time I spent around my friends. I could tell they tried to do it less around me, but they still slipped up a few times— well, a lot more than a few times.

But its the effort that counts.

"We'll be right back guys." Damien said as he started leading me away.

"Ew" Jack shouted, "can't you guys wait till we're gone to do that stuff? I don't wanna hear that" I blushed at what he was implying. Although Damien and I had done stuff like that, it still made me extremely flustered to think or talk about it at all.

Even the mere mention of sex would give me flashbacks to my first time with Damien.

Daddy rolled his eyes at his friend's teasing words. "We're not going to do that or anything like it. I just need to talk with Teddy privately for a second. Ok? Okay. No one bother us."  He said dominantly, leaving no room for argument.

"Alright man. If you say so" Jack said, turning back towards the movie, but not without giving us one last glance that said, 'I-Don't-believe-a-word-you-say'.

Daddy lead us back to the room and placed me down onto the bed. I swung my feet back and forth— a habit I had acquired over the years because of never being able to touch the floor when I sit down on most chairs or sitting areas. He walked over to the closet, coming out with my favorite baby blue pacifier and my green Dino blanket. They were my comfort items. The things I liked to have with me when I was in little space.
