Damien's POV:

I woke up from my short nap, my arms feeling bare and empty, causing me to furrow my eyebrows as my arms blindly searched the bed for my little boy. Oddly, the sheets around me were cold, and empty, letting me know that Teddy, who was in little space, had been awake for a while now.

Awake and unsupervised.

Unsupe—UNSUPERVISED— SHIT

My eyes snapped open at the realization, and I threw the covers off my body, goosebumps immediately rising on my skin from the cold December air. The apartment was eerily silent, which unnerved me slightly. If Teddy is awake and in little space, shouldn't there be more noise? He's usually not quiet when he's regressed.

I fished some socks out of my drawers to warm myself up at least a little, put them on, before exiting my bedroom in search for my tiny little bear.

"Baby where are you?" I asked out loud as I quickly checked the bathroom just in case, only to find that he wasn't in there, so I continued on with my search. I heard a light humming sound coming from the living room, and as if my feet went on autopilot, I started to head in that direction.

The distinct humming got louder as I drew closer and closer to the living room, causing me to chuckle under my breath, knowing that it was Teddy, who is constantly humming when he's in little space.

Most people would find the habit annoying, but personally I found the incoherent tunes he would come up with unconsciously to be endearing. It showed that he was calm and comfortable in his environment, which made me overjoyed.

As I rounded the corner, I was met with the sight of Teddy on our family room floor, laying on his stomach, coloring in one of his favorite princess coloring books as his feet absentmindedly moved around behind him. The view was picture worthy, which is exactly why I quietly took out my phone and snapped a quick photo of him laying there in one of my T-shirts, no pants, and some Dino print fuzzy socks he must have put on after waking up.

Slipping my phone into one of the pockets of my sweatpants, I walked closer, making myself comfortable on the floor next to him, somehow not catching his attention yet. I silently watched him for a few more moments, admiring the way his eyelashes brushed against his cheeks every time he blinked, and how he pursed his lips cutely when he got closer to the edges of his coloring pages.

Eventually though, when I realized the time, I had to speak up and interrupt his coloring. "Did you have a good nap baby?" I asked leaning closer to him slightly.

At the sound of my voice, his head shot up in surprise as his coloring ceased momentarily. As if he was in a daze, he stared at me for a few moments with pursed lips, before regaining as much composure as he could considering the regressed state he was in.

He nodded.

"Words darling" I said sternly, running a hand through his hair, which was still slightly a mess from our nap.

"Yes daddy" He responds as he colored the princesses hair a bright shade of pink. By the sound of his voice, I could tell that he wasn't regressed to a super young age. Maybe around 3 or 4, since he could still form coherent words.

"Thats good to hear. How long have you been awake?" I asked

"I dunno" he murmured, shrugging his shoulders slightly.
