KATE; babes? what's wrong, i thought you wanted him to call? you have been waiting all day...

DIXIE; mhm... i did

KATE; what changed?

DIXIE; the fact he was "busy" all day and didn't get the time to call me, yet he was in his bed?!

KATE; thinking* how the fuck did i not see and realise that] oh really?

DIXIE; yup, and also the fact he didn't notice the lipstick smeared all over his lips!! [mad]

KATE; maybe he was filming something with the boys? like a skit or something?

DIXIE; nope! i don't think a skit involves a woman's voice in the background, and if he was with the boys they would never stay that quiet! [crying and mad]

KATE; oh babes [hugs her tight]

DIXIE; I knew he would find someone better

KATE; she is NOT better than you! in ANY way!

DIXIE; thanks kate but you don't need to boost my confidence... he already ruined it so low it can never be built back up...

KATE; that's it! [mad] I'm flying back to L.A to knock some sense into him!

DIXIE; kate! [pulls her back by her arm] don't bother, he isn't worth the time

KATE; [sighs] fine, want me to get nate?

DIXIE; n-no he will over react... i think i just need sleep....

KATE; ok [kisses her head] sleep well, do you mind if i meet up with the others while you're asleep or?

DIXIE; kate... of course not! their you're friends too [laughs] have fun bestie

KATE; i will, thank you! love you [leaves]

DIXIE; [lays in her bed] talking to herself* why noah? why not just tell me you were loosing feelings... why? why lie? why hide everything? whyyy? [cries herself to sleep]

[2 weeks later, day before spring break]

DIXIE; nate? can i talk to you for a sec, in private?

NATE; of course [walks away from the group] what's up?

DIXIE; so i haven't told you... and only kate knows but I'm pretty sure noah, cheated on me... don't over react please! i beg, you but i just want to let you know and i was wondering since you are going home for spring break would you be able to ask your family if you can spend thanksgiving with me...? as besties... in our eyes but to everyone else pretend we are dating... i know i shouldn't be using you to make noah jealous bu--

NATE; [cuts her off] I'll do thanksgiving with you dix, don't worry ok?

DIXIE; really?!

NATE; of course, if he hurt you... then we need to hurt him by making him jealous.... he is a dick for cheating on you dixie, no one should ever treat you like that! you don't deserve it [kisses her head]

DIXIE; thank you so much [hugs him]

NATE; no problem now go enjoy spring break ok?

DIXIE; [smiles at him] you too [hugs him tight]

[[the next day dixie is at the airport with kate]]

DIXIE; i should have been looking forward to seeing noah... now all I'm looking forward to is my bed and my mom and the twins...

KATE; i know dix, but he is an idiot for doing what he did! trust me! and plus you get to see Blake josh and Bryce too!!

DIXIE; omg! i nearly forgot about them [laughs] i can't wait!!
