Chapter 4: Accepted or not?

"I said, calm down." Captain repeatedly commanded his team to settle down.

"Why...Why did it happen now?!!" Eren's frightened expression made you conclude that he was as surprised as you all are. You understood in an instant that he wasn't going to try anything funny, but the rest of the squad didn't harbor the same thought as you.

As you witnessed his transformation, you were bewildered of the titan's features. You only saw drawings of it on textbooks and standing in front of the most-feared creature of humanity was still a foreign feeling. You didn't know if you were excited, nervous, confused, or if you're just feeling all of the emotions at the same time.

"Eren! What the hell is this supposed to mean?!" You focused your attention to Gunther who just screamed while pointing his blade at Eren.

"Why did you do it without our permission?! Answer me!" Eld was uneasy as well.

"Explain yourself you bastard!"

"Eren!"

"Try to move an inch of that fucking titan's body and I'll send your head flying! Try me!"

"Oluo! I said calm the fuck down." Levi, who was facing all of you moved backward towards Eren to refrain them from moving forward.

"Sir! Don't come closer to Eren." Petra shrieked as she saw Levi approaching Eren.

"I said step back!"

"What the hell Captain!??"

"Eren! Explain yourself!" Gunther suddenly moved forward towards Eren which made you panic as well. Your body suddenly moved and you knocked him unto the ground before he could reach Eren with his blades.

You completely understood their response but scaring Eren was not a good decision as well. All of you hardly know anything of his transformation ability and angering him can endanger athe rest of you in this area.

"What the fuck!?? Are you siding with that monster?!" Oluo directed his blade at you which you just countered with a glare.

"Shut up! You're scaring him! It was obvious that he did not do it on purpose."

"Belova, I swear-

"Yelling at him is going to make things worse. Damn it!" You pushed him hard which made him stumble a few inches. Both of you were about to argue again when Levi's patience was tested.

"Get your fucking ass away from each other!" Levi looked like he was about to tear both of you limb to limb. After calming down, he directed his attention to the rest of the squad.

"Eren! Answer me this instant. Are you our enemy?!"

"Eren!"

Eren's eyes were full of fear, frustration, and panic combined. He looked down and suddenly screamed while having a hard time to breathe. "Please calm down!!"

"EREEEEEN!!!" Suddenly, a tall brown-haired girl approached Eren's titan form with ease. You recognized her in an instant. She was with Levi when they went to the mansion.

"Can I touch your hand? Eren!! Can I?!!" She did not try to hide her excitement and Eren was confused. Before he could respond, Hanji suddenly grabbed the titan's arm which sent her screaming because of its heat. When Hanji instructed Eren to separate from his titan, Levi's squad calmed down and put their weapons away.
