At Liberty and Order (Levi x reader)

Chapter 5: But first, cleaning duties

"Wake up"

"Mhmmm"

"Oi. I said wake up." You slowly opened your eyes because of the unfriendly voice that you heard first thing in the morning. As you got up, you were shocked to see Levi leaning against the door of your bedroom.

"What are you doing here?!!" You screamed as you reached for your blanket to cover your legs that were slightly exposed due to your habit of rolling around the bed while sleeping .

"Didn't I mention last night that preparations for the mission will be done in the morning." He frowned.

"It's not that late." You glanced at the window to make sure.

"It's already 10am." Levi then proceeded to the hallway as soon as he told you the time.

You widened your eyes and immediately got out of your bed to prepare. Realizing that you haven't took a bath and brushed your teeth, you took your bathroom utilities and headed straight to the bathroom.

You'd rather have the Captain scold you for being late than to show up in the HQ without cleaning yourself. I guess a 10- minute bath will do.

Once you finished, you wore your scout regiment uniform, minus the jacket and headed downstairs to meet up with your squad mates. You took a glance at the clock in the middle of the hall and was surprised to see the time. It was 7:20 am and it was not past 10.

What the heck?

"Hey, over here." You scanned through the building and saw Eld waving his hand to tell you to head towards the mess hall. You then followed him and saw the whole squad including Levi, sitting on the table and eating their breakfast.

Captain Levi was casually drinking his tea while talking to Gunther like he didn't lie a while ago. "You said it was 10am." You looked at him and frowned.

"Preparations start at 8am, it was already 7 and you were still on your bed like a paralyzed insect."

A what?!!

Oluo and Gunther snickered at Levi's comment and instead of saying 'You should've just told me the time honestly', you ignored his comment and headed towards the cafeteria worker to get your breakfast.

"You're now eating a full meal." Petra noticed as she stared at your tray.

"I usually do. I just wasn't feeling well during that time." You answered her honestly and continued eating the toasted bread, eggs, and bacon on your plate.

You realized that your meal wasn't complete, so you quickly headed to where the cups are and filled it with hot water and dropped a tea bag. You returned to your seat and you noticed a small container with milk right next to Oluo.
