CHAPTER 17

"K-Knight, Cyan." Napatingin ang dalawang lalaki sa kanila at sabay na ngumiti.

"Sorry, we're late." Naglakad sila sa dalawang babaeng walang malay at doon humiga sa tabi nila.

Knight kiss Romelette's lips and smile softly. A year without his love is hellish but he has to do it to keep her safe and the baby. It may be accidental, but Kiel's twin died because of him.

"I'm sorry, love. I love you." He whispered in her ear.

"Kiel Parker," he said as he stare at his son. "I'll do anything to be forgiven by your mom, son."

Napadako ang tingin niya kay Kairos na karga-karga ang Isang sanggol at may maliit na ngiti sa labi. Hinalikan pa nito ang kanyang noo at bumubulong-bulong.

"Kairos," Lumingon sa kanya si Kairos. "Is that yours?" Kairos smile and nodded.

"He's Kalix, my son," the he took a glance at his wife who's sleeping. "And Christine is his mother."

"You love her?" Kairos nodded.

"So much. Why do you think I impregnate her?" Humiga ito sa tabi ng asawa habang nasa gitna ang anak nila na dilat ang mata.

"Connor and Cronus," Cyan whispered and kiss his children's forehead.

Seeing their sons with the girl they love is like a dream come true. It's hard being away from their girls, but they know it's harder for the girls to carry their child knowing that they don't have any idea that they are alive.

"H-how come that both of y-you are a-alive?" Takang tanong ni Angela sa kanila.

Knight was about to talk when the door opened. Four doctors checking their wives and the babies. Pagkatapos nilang tingnan ang mga sanggol ay nagpaalam na kaagad Itong umalis.

"I think, it's not yet the right time to talk about that. Knowing that my baby is still sleeping, I want her to hear my explanation." They all nodded as they watch Romelette and Cheska's boyfriend taking care of their sons.

"You made her cry, Cyan." Cyan glance at Cheska's friends who's looking at him seriously.

"She missed you so much, to the point that she broke down in front of us." Seryosong sabi ni Jode sa kanya.

Cyan look at his girlfriend softly and caress her face. When they plan about their fake death at the palace, he thinks that Cheska will move on easily but he thinks he's wrong. Hearing from one of her friends saying she broke down because of her making him fell in love with her more.

He gently put Cronus in the bed beside Cheska and carry Connor on the other bed and put her beside her baby as well. Umupo siya sa tabi ng babaeng tulog at halata ang pagod sa kanyang mukha.

"I'm sorry, I didn't get to held your hand while bearing our twin," he whispered. "You did it, baby. I'm so proud of you." A tear escape from her eyes as he stare at his beautiful baby.

Knight on the other hand was playing with his son. He's so cute while holding his father's finger with his cute hands. He chuckled and wipe his son's saliva.

He's never been this happy seeing his newborn son beside him, as well as Cyan who's in tears while looking at his twins sleeping peacefully. He envy Cyan for having a twin and blame himself because of what happened a year ago. When he thought that their child really died but no, the one's holding on and here it is, in his arms while staring at him.

"If I could only save your twin, I'm willing to go back to the past." He whispered in his son and kiss it's forehead.

"We still have to report to Callen." Biglang tumayo si Cyan kaya sumunod siya dito.

"Please, take care of our girls and sons, we'll be back later." Tumango silang lahat pagkatapos ay lumapit kay Cheska at Romelette.

"Parang kanina lang, umiiyak si Cheska. Ngayon, nandito na si Cyan, hinalikan pa siya mismo sa harapan na 'tin." Tumango ang mga kasamahan.

Natigilan sila nang dumilat si Romelette at taka silang tiningnan.

"A-ate," marahang kinarga ni Shaina ang baby at binigay sa kanya.

Romelette automatically in tears when she saw his son, looking at her with his blue green eyes. Just like Knight's eyes.

"My baby," she said as tears continuously fall from her eyes. "My Kiel Parker."

Nanlaki ang mata nila nang marinig ang pangalan ng anak ni Romelette.

"Hala! 'yan rin ang sabi ni— hmmp!" Kaagad na tinakpan ni Angela ang bibig ni Raquel at sinamaan ito ng tingin.

"Huwag kang madaldal, surprise na 'tin sila." Gigil niyang bulong na kinatango ni Raquel.

Romelette look at them confusedly and just shrugged. Natawa siya nang mahina dahil bigla Itong umiyak kaya marahan niya Itong sinayaw at kumanta ng mahina.

"Kamusta na pakiramdam mo ate? Masakit ba manganak?" They all sigh and look at Sheila flatly.

"Hindi, Sheila. Ang sarap nga sa pakiramdam, eh." Natawa sila sa sinabi ni Romelette.

Napanguso si Sheila na kinangiwi nila. Mukha talaga siyang pato pag ngumuso, inatake na naman ata ng kasabugan at tinatanong pa kung masakit ba manganak.

"Sheila, tulog ka muna. Alam kong Isang buwan kang walang maayos na tulog dahil sa dalawang maiingay sa kabilang kwarto noon." Napatingin silang lahat kay Shantel na walang kamalay-malay at tulog na.

"Si Isabel oh, knock out na. Si Espe, bumalik na rin ata sa asawa niya kasi wala na dito. Ikaw, tumabi ka na kay Isabel at matulog." Pagtataboy ni Shaina sa kanya kaya wala siyang nagawa kung hindi ang sumunod.

Cheska on the other hand, was awaken by an little kick from her arms. Napatingin siya sa gilid at napangiti kaagad nang makita ang dalawang kambal sa tabi niya na dilat ang mata at sumisipa-sipa.

She chuckled and pull them closer to her and hugged them both. She kiss her sons cheeks and giggle.

"My babies." Cheska said softly.

"Our babies, baby." She stilled when she heard his familiar voice from behind as a strong arms encircled around her waist.

Her eyes started to water as she feels him caressing her tummy. He kiss her nape and whispered. "I'm sorry." She cried, again.

Humawi sila nang dumaan si Knight sa harapan ni Romelette na ngayo'y nakatulala na sa kanya. He smile as he hugged her tightly, saying 'i'm sorry' so many times as he cried in her neck.

"I'm sorry, love. I'm so sorry." He sobbed.

Romelette hug him back and kiss his lips, "it's okay, as long as you're here." She whispered that made him cry even more.

Seeing their two friends crying over their lovers makes them happy. Because from now on, they'll never take care of their children alone 'cause Knight and Cyan are back.

Their other half and their world is back, in their arms, crying and apologizing over their mistakes.

"I love you, Cheska." He kiss her lips softly and wipe her tears.

"I love you too, Cyan. And please, don't leave me again, now that you have Connor and Cronus." He chuckled."We clicked. I named them Connor and Cronus, too." Cheska smile and hug him again.

"I'll never leave, never again." He whispered.

"We'll never leave our baby's side. Now that our babies have babies too." Knight and Cyan chuckle.

No one can compare how happy they are. The four of them being happy as they are watched by their friends who has a soft smile on their faces, it's so satisfying that it made them cry.

"Let's protect their happiness, together." Angela said.

"Together." Sabay na sagot ng lahat at nagtawanan.
