CHAPTER 29

Kairros spend most of his time in developing the antidote together with Dra. Deiparine and her team. His thankful that Christine is very supportive to him and also their friends are always there to help her girlfriend in taking care of their baby.

"Doc, it's already lunch. We should eat now." Dra. Deiparine said, holding his arm.

Kairros nodded and check the test tube in the test tube rack. The sample substances is in the erlenmeyer flask and ready to transfer on the test tubes for further studying. The toxin used in the study will control the toxic activity present in the infected individual.

Reduction of poison or the toxic can be achieved by specific and non-specific agents that bind to the toxin. They used the activated charcoal as a non-specific binding agent.

"Kairros, let's eat." Dra. Deiparine went to his side again and hold his wrist at sa gano'ng tagpo sila naabutan ni Christine.

Kairros gulped and walk towards Christine, "baby." he said softly.

Christine pursed her lips when she saw Dra. Deiparine holding Kairros wrist, she wanted to strangled her neck but she restrained herself because she knows that it will be a wrong move.

"Your son's waiting for you!" she said and turned her back at Kairros who sighed deeply.

Humabol sa kanya ang binata palabas ng laboratoryo, ipinagsiklop ang kanilang mga kamay at hinalikan ang likod ng palad nya na hawak nito. Walang imik silang bumalik sa kwarto kung nasaan ang anak na ngayo'y binabantayan ni Angela at Maye.

"Thank you for taking care of Kalex, girls" Christine said and the two bid their goodbye. Kairros hug Christine at the back while she is carrying their baby.

"Kain na tayo?" tanong nya at tumango naman ang babae. "I didn't do anything bad, baby." he said depending himself because he knows that his girlfriend's jealous because of what she saw.

His aware that Dra. Deiparine has a hots for him but he ignore it. No one can replace Christine and Kalex in his heart. They are his home now, finally home!

Iniharap nya ang girlfriend at marahan itong hinalikan na agad din namang gumanti sa kanya. Nagpapalitan pa sila ng mabibining halik ng bigla na lang bumunghalit ng tawa ang anak nilang si kalex.

Nagulat man pero agad nakabawi ang dalawa ng makita ang anak nilang sayang-saya at nakatingala sa kanilang dalawa. Nakataas pa ang dalawang kamay nito na animo'y gusto silang abutin kaya pinatakan ng binata, nang halik sa noo ang anak nila.

"Are you happy, my love?" Kairros asked his adorable son, "because mommy and daddy, really loves you our little angel." he continued and Christine got teary-eyed hearing those words from Kairros.

Bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto at sabay silang napatingin ni Christine.

It's Tom, "have you seen, Angela?" he said, catching his breath.

They shook their heads making Tom sighed and walk-away.

"Oh! Nakita mo?" Tom just pouted ang hugged his brother Jerry.

"Kuya...tinataguan talaga ako ng babaeng 'yon." Jerry laughed at him making Tom frown.

"Bakit mo naman kasi hinalikan?" tanong ni Jerry na ikinangisi lang ni Tom.

"Ayiie! Sali ako. Group hug...." sigaw ni Astrimir na tumatakbo palapit sa kanila habang nakadipa ang dalawang kamay.

Napangisi ang dalawa at sabay na nagkatinginan bago humiwalay si Tom kay Jerry na saktong pagkalapit sa kanila ni Astrimir at natumba. Plakda at nauna ang mukha!
