okay so idk if y'all know them but the user @ mermaidfan76 has been reposting ryo asuka stories from tumblr and claiming it as their own.
they first contacted me back in January to send in a request and i barely finished the outline right so i went "oh they got ryo fics too lemme read them" so yk i was reading and i was like "hold on...this sounds waaaaay too familiar" and then i was reading the rest of the stories they had and they were literally copied word by word from stories off of tumblr

so i reached out to 4 authors while mermaidfan76 had about 6 stories i recognized from other authors and im still trying to find one author who had their work reposted. 2 of them had responded confirming that they didn't give their permission for them to repost so like what the fuck yk why the hell would mermaidfan76 do that.
and this morning i was gonna confront them but my messages with them were gone [i still have screen shots of our previous convo]. they probably blocked me bc i tried searching for their story and user again and nothing came up

something i forgot to add that one of my friends said i should also discuss. mermaidfan76 is 27 years old and specifically requested ryo asuka to be 16 years old. like ik that didn't sit well when i was writing so i aged him up bc it was just weird how u like almost 30 requesting for a 16 year old 🤨
